    COOLRAY FIELD

    by Cessna10 on 7/27/17Coolray Field - Lawrenceville

The best place to watch a ball game in Atlanta. Great views, nice crowd and pleasant staff.

Good venue and employees; 90% food closed

by JLdog on 7/26/17Coolray Field - Lawrenceville

So on the merits of the kids stuff and not weather, it was good. But the concessions were closed and lines sucked. BBQ sold out. The hot dogs were borderline edible. And charging for kids at the water slip and slide in 95 degree weather is almost criminal... when concessions closed.

    Indians beat the Braves.

    by TribeFan1 on 7/11/17Coolray Field - Lawrenceville

Parking is ample & $5 is a good price. We got free beach towels for being a bit early. The food is adequate but pricey. Section 119 is one of the best & cheapest seats. Almost all of the scoring was in the first. The rain held off until the bottom of the ninth & thankfully since it was raining the Braves didn't tie it up.

    When in town...

by dthendrix on 7/10/17Coolray Field - Lawrenceville

I go to a G Braves game every year when we come to town. It is everything you love about the "Marietta Braves" without all the hassle you hate. Parking is easier. Seats are all better. There's more shade, and EVERYTHING is CHEAPER! I do hate that they changed Neikro's to a bar instead of a restaurant, but it was still a good experience- even with a long rain delay.

Food not good, only one concession stand open and high prices for mediocre at best food. Charges children to go in kid zone. Advertised Freeman would play there that night and then he didn't.

Gwinnett Braves baseball is a good time

by fuzzybee on 7/8/17Coolray Field - Lawrenceville

I attend several Gwinnett Braves baseball games a year, I usually buy my ticket at the gate but bought this one online the day before because I thought more people would be going than actually wound up going to this game. I enjoy baseball and enjoy the G-Braves (especially since the Atlanta Braves have moved now) Coolray Field is a nice park, even though I wish there was an upper level where I would have a higher view. I wish there were more legroom between the rows of seats because my long legs get scrunched up with the rows being so close together, that sometimes distracts from being able to stay focused on the game. Everyone always treats you nice, and the concession stand food (hotdogs and fries) is really good, although the biggest negative about Coolray Field is the lack of a good pizza product, since pizza is my favorite concession stand food. I always enjoy my trips to the G-Braves games and am glad we have them in town.

What a great way to spend a family evening. The intimacy of the park as well as the friendliness of the staff makes the evening a home run!

    Great Experience at The Ballpark

    by JCL15 on 7/8/17Coolray Field - Lawrenceville

From the trip over, to the parking, to the stadium entrance and getting to our seats, was painless and enjoyable. The staff was friendly and very accommodating through the hole experience. We will go more often! Thanks Gwinnett Braves for a great family outing!

    Always a great night

by DaveFromLilburn on 7/7/17Coolray Field - Lawrenceville

A night at the G Braves is always a great night. The G Braves played well as usual, and it is clear that the payers are there because they love the game. The stadium is always clean with close by parking $5 cash only. The food tastes good and priced around $10 for most meals. The fireworks are intense and much closer than other shows providing a unique experience. They provide entertainment during every half inning changes so there is never a dull moment.

    Biggest Disappointment of the year!

    by SAM151 on 7/7/17Coolray Field - Lawrenceville

I purchased two GBraves Tickets through Ticketmaster for the July 4th game. My husband has heart failure and can get out of breath if he walks a long way or climbs stairs. When I selected the seats, I found two seats on the next to the last row in section 106 that were right on the aisle. (My husband is 6'4 and likes to be able to stand up occasionally to stretch his legs. I selected these seats because they totally fit what I wanted and I gave them to my husband for our wedding anniversary. I printed them out and stuck them in my anniversary card to him. We live in Toccoa, GA so it is quite a drive to see the GBraves but we were excited to see them and then see the fireworks. When we arrived, a golf cart was near where we parked and so we were able to ride to the door of the stadium which was a blessing. When we got into the stadium and started to our seats we discovered that the tickets I had gotten were NOT the ones I had selected on Ticketmaster. It turned out they were about halfway down the stairs, on the very far inside seat away from the isle and WERE NOT EVEN in the same row! I knew we could not use these seats. My husband and I went to the customer service window to try and purchase or upgrade the tickets and were told the game was sold out. So, we left. We drove back to Toccoa without being able to enjoy our "date night." I know this may seem petty to some people but when you have health needs and try to purchase tickets that will work for you, you should not get the old "bait and switch." I would NOT have purchased these tickets because we would not have been able to use them. Also, since I had clicked on the two available seats, I guess I assumed I was purchasing the seats I selected and I saw nothing about the seats being switched. So, we purchase tickets we could not use and took the long trip from Toccoa to Gwinnet and back for nothing.
