Guns N' Roses in Concert

Following the group's 1985 formation, Guns N' Roses injected unbridled, unrivaled, and unstoppable attitude into the burgeoning Los Angeles rock scene. The spirit went on to captivate the entire world with the release of their 1987 debut Appetite for Destruction –the best-selling U.S. debut ever, moving 30 million copies globally. In 1991, the seven-time platinum Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II occupied the top two spots of the Billboard Top 200 upon release. Over the course of the past decade, Guns N' Roses have performed sold out shows and headlined festivals worldwide following the critically acclaimed release of 2008's RIAA platinum-certified Chinese Democracy. Six studio albums later, Guns N' Roses are one of the most important and influential acts in music history and continue to set the benchmark for live performances connecting with millions of fans across the globe.

Guns N' Roses on Tour

Guns N' Roses announced North American dates as part of their epic 2020 worldwide stadium tour in the summer. The powerhouse performers bring their uninhibited signature sound and dominance to millions of fans across the globe starting March in Mexico City. The colossal Guns N' Roses 2020 Tour steamrolls through Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Lisbon, London, Prague and so many more. GNR are the first ever rock band to perform at the long-awaited Los Angeles SoFi Stadium and hit MetLife Stadium on the opposite coast, home of the New York Giants and New York Jets.

The iconic rock heroes show off their vast catalogue of hits on the road including "Welcome to the Jungle," "Paradise City," "Sweet Child o' Mine," and "November Rain." The announcement comes on the heels of the band's first show of the decade at Super Bowl Music Fest that invaded Miami for Super Bowl LIV.

In 2016, Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan shocked and thrilled fans around the world after revealing they were reuniting for their now historic Not In This Lifetime Tour. The band brought endless energy to more than 150 shows, playing for more than 5.5 million fans worldwide.

Audience is key! 2 shows in 1 week, major differences!!

    by CD on 11/24/23

I saw them in Knoxville and it was not a good show. The venue was horrible and old. The crowd was boring and sat down almost the whole time. Not me, I went nuts!! The people behind me ended up sitting in the aisle so they could see 🤷‍♀️ The worst was the screens that never showed the band…only these cheesy graphics. One week later I saw them at Music Midtown and it was like a totally different show. Huge screens that showed the band the whole time and the energy was better so the band was better. I never knew venue made such a difference. Thompson Bowling Arena is the worst venue I’ve ever experienced!!! But GNR still has it given the right crowd.

    Good Experience.

    by Jay on 11/16/23

It was great seeing both The Black Keys and Guns n` Roses at the Hollywood Bowl. I love The Black Keys and it was my first time seeing live! So thumbs up for that. As for Guns and Roses I finally also caught the chance to see them live. It was nice to hear the hits and to seeing it in Bowl was just the cherry on top.

What a fantastic show!! Both Guns and Roses and the Black Keys!! What a line up!! And at the Hollywood Bowl under the stars no less! I consider it very lucky to have gotten tickets to this show. Just to hear November Rain live (in November, no less) was such a treat! 5 stars!

Its a miracle they are still somehow relevent?

    by mehatron on 11/13/23

They haven't released a new album since 2008 and Axl can't sing. Slash and Duff are the glue keeping this ship from sinking, but even that's not enough.

    GNR Good Vibes

by Wayne69 on 11/12/23Snapdragon Stadium - San Diego

It was my first time seeing GnR at a show. Even though there not in their prime anymore I had a blast enjoying hearing Axl Rose rocking and singing on the stage. I loved how the crowd was alive when GnR performed their smash hit Sweet Child O' Mine because the fans really were energetic once that song played with Slash starting it off with the intro of him playing with his guitar. I was very satisfied with my seat at the show. I had no problems with the person sitting next to me. I enjoyed the whole show with GnR singing and dancing. Going to these kinds of concerts are my own good vibes only to feel alive were I'm happy.

    Took Me To Paradise City

    by miss.mistyblue on 11/10/23Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

I've seen GNR twice at the Alamodome, Austin City Limits, & the Hollywood Bowl. Axl's iconic voice & performance are so strong, as well as Duff's. Slash is absolutely amazing in his craft, the classics, & his solos. Don't miss the night train to Paradise City!

    Hollywood bowl Sound was off

by Sound was off on 11/8/23Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

We had tickets for November 2nd and our seats up in the W section. The sound was so bad. The treble kept cutting in and out and Axel's sound kept going up and down. They were playing with the sound so much it was annoying and took away from being able to fully enjoy the show.

    Disappointed

I didn't like the playlist They didn't play Paradise City (among other omissions) and the sound was not the best and unfortunately Axl lost the power of his voice

    Weak vocals and unpopular songs...

by Smash on 11/7/23Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

Slash killed it as usual and musically they are great, but too many non hits and the vocals were in and out. I thought it was mic problems, but it persisted and was very distracting.

    Its GNR.

by Mirriam on 11/6/23Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

I was expecting more of a lively crowd. But the first half was super dry. They sang most of the songs from the album Couldn't reach higher notes any more. Guitarists are still amazing as ever. It eas mostly the stage presence and interaction with the audience that needs to improve

    Frustrated with Early Start Time

by Will on 11/6/23Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

Would have been great if it didn't start so early. Starting a concert at 6 PM (and starting right on time) in LA does not work for anyone who works a 9 to 5. There is no way to make it to the venue and get seated by 6. I missed the entire Black Keys set and everyone I spoke to missed most or all of it. I understand there is an 11 PM curfew. The concert only went until 10, so it could have started an hour later. Guns N Roses were great and the Hollywood Bowl is a nice venue. The sound quality was poor at first (too quiet, Axl was much louder than the instruments), but improved later in the show.

Wow. GnR bad. Black keys great.

by ToddAF on 11/6/23Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

At least one band showed up. Auerbach was amazing. All was terrible. Can’t sing or hit the notes. Slash played the same solo every song. The bowl was not energized. Only stand up moment in the first 10, was “welcome to…” and that was half hearted. Left after 10 songs. Better things to do in Han waste my time.

Glad I got in for free

by GNR on 11/6/23Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

The sound the first part of the concert wasn’t good, sounded like my ears were clogged. Axls voice kept going in and out. Slash was amazing, no surprise there. Axl was low energy, kept going off stage during the songs. Very littler interaction with the crowd and he was off key (if he could even hit it) way too often.
