Gulf Coast Showcase - Women’s Tickets

I realize now that the arena was so cold since it is also an ice arena. Not a great place to watch a basketball game. Also the floor seems cold and slippery.

Parking sucked - very poor lighting, seats were good, froze my butt off in the arena. Won’t be attending another event at this location.

Second time attending this women’s tournament. Truly impressive teams to see. Fun way to spend time during Thanksgiving Break. Love the venue. Definitely cold but expected due to the ice rink. I wish parking didn’t cost $30. Seems like a lot since you aren’t in a parking garage protected from the rain. You don’t even pay that for professional games. Also, it’s a nightmare on Black Friday. Really hoped that there would have been improvement from what occurred last year. Be prepared to sit for a long time to get out of there.

It was a great venue and the basketball games were very entertaining. The leg room, however, in the seats are very cramped. There were not enough workers at the concession stands, which resulted in long lines and long waits. The paper products in the restrooms were lacking.

We flew down to support our Iowa womens basketball team and boy was it an experience to be had! The arena was easy to get in and out of and overall, everything went smoothly. Would def return!

Bought tickets through Ticketmaster for Women's Golf Coast Showcase basketball tournament. Easy to purchase tickets and to have tickets scanned from my phone to enter games.

Attended all 4 games played on the first day of the Women’s Gulf Coast Showcase. The players and coaches were all talented and put forth great efforts. The games were entertaining. Felt bad for the folks in shots and tank tops on the floor because the basketball floor is laid over the ice used for hockey games. The arena was really, really cold. A strong breeze consistently blew from the back wall at the top of the arena down towards the court. Even the thousands of fans Iowa brought to the last game didn’t raise the temperature inside. Loved the games, but wished they were held in a more hospitable environment.

The bench pa announcer was annoying and more interested in himself than the #5 team in the nation. His bias for the home team and anyone that played Iowa was noticeable. Nate Jackson needs to go!

Had a great time! Traveled from Iowa to watch the women play. So much fun!

On the last night of the tournament there was no popcorn for attendees, a real mistake. Quality of food definitely could be improved!!
