The grapple at the Garden was a fantastic event, a lot of great wrestling! It was nice to see the club wrestlers as well as the collage teams.

    Grapple at The Garden

by DragonCoach on 12/4/13Madison Square Garden - New York

Anytime NCAA & Olympic Wrestling can get exposure at the 'GARDEN' it is special, and this event was no exception. A fine showing by all teams, and a preview of what will come in March at the NCAA Championships for a number of these wrestlers. A great venue, great teams and I look forward to next year!

As a wrestling fan I enjoyed it with my son. However we were told via e-mail that Kyle Dake would be available for autographs but there was no mention of this at the event. My son was very disappointed. I would have liked to see vendors with wrestling gear for sale. The 'grapple" singlets for 100.00 was obnoxious - even for NY. The event lacked excitement for the fans. Something simple like shooting t-shirts into the stands and lighting effects would have helped.
