GRANGER SMITH IN CONCERT:
No-frills country crooner Granger Smith is all about life's simple pleasures. Whether he's singing about making love in a field or joking about the stereotypes of country living as his alter ego Earl Dibbles Jr., the gifted young songwriter approaches his material with an ease and modesty that never fail to endear him to fans. His down-home personality and friendly voice have long made him a live favorite in his home state of Texas, and now audiences around the country will get a chance to see him perform as he hits the road on tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Texas, Smith took up the guitar at age 14, teaching himself to play and penning his first songs. At age 19, he moved to Nashville and quickly landed a songwriting contract. He self-released his debut album Waiting on Forever in 1998, impressing critics with a strong collection of songs that hinted at the future success he would enjoy. In addition to self-releasing five more albums throughout the '00s, Smith has traveled to Iraq to perform for soldiers and played two shows at the White House. In 2013 he made his major label debut with Dirt Road Driveway, landing at No. 15 on the Country Albums chart -- a feat that has fans eagerly awaiting his upcoming tour.

It helped that it was a pretty small crowd and more relaxed because it was on a sunday but still exciting and he even signed something for anyone who wanted him to.

It was a Sunday evening show, with Granger Smith not starting till 9:00pm. Didn’t even stay to watch his whole show, extremely disappointed with the wait from an artist that is trying to create a fan-base.

I've been constantly looking at his tour dates waiting to see Seattle on the list. When I saw he was coming to Seattle I screamed in the middle of the store I was in. Out of excitement. I purchased my tickets right then and there just moments after he announced he was coming. This was the best concert I have ever been too. He is an amazing guitarist and singer and has a ton of fun on stage. He signed autographs and took photos during his show. I'm a huge fan of his and got a VIP pass to meet him before the show. He is a total sweetheart would was very down to earth when my friends and I met him.

I had never heard of them (almost), but I have seen a YEE YEE shirt. I am a Rock-n-Roll guitar player, and not much of a country fan....... But folks, this show was excellent! They are VERY GOOD entertainers......... Don't be fooled..... they may play "country", but they are ROCKERS at heart. Go see them..... worth every penny.

I would recommend his show to anyone because not only does he put on a good country show but his band plays really good something interesting to watch. I would love to see another Granger Smith concert. And I more than likly will be at another one before the year is over. Thank you!

I've been around and have seen Colt Ford, Florida Georgia Line, and the Zac Brown Band but none of these shows have compared to Granger Smith! He is an amazing artist with great showmanship and has a lot of fan interaction. I was in the front row and him and his band were just awesome playing there hearts out!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The sound quality was awesome and from what I could see he was really close. I loved how granger interacted with the crowd I hope to see him come back to Lancaster again maybe at a bigger venu!

by tlynn19 on 9/16/14Chameleon Club - LancasterI had so much fun at the Granger Smith concert. My boyfriend is a big fan and was so excited when i got the tickets. We drove three hours to get there. When we got there I was kinda shocked. When I got the tickets it had said that we had specific seats and we had got there, there was not a seat to be found which was alright other than the size of the venue. Granger Smith is very well known and the venue was so small for his popularity. My boyfriend and I were in the 21+ section down stairs. It was extremely crowded. I was almost pushed to the ground by a couple of people that were trying to get there big drunk butts through the crowd. Granted we could see what was going on i would have been much happier if it had been a bigger venue. If it was a smaller band then that would be a great place to go to a concert. At the end of the show it was great. My boyfriend and I were waiting in line to get a CD and actually ended up meeting Granger Smith, we got pictures with him, and he signed my shirt and my boyfriends CD. He seems like a really cool guy and Id love to hangout with him. Other than the venue size it was an amazing concert and an awesome night! Thank you Granger Smith for coming to Lancaster and giving two Upstate New York kids a chance to see you, it was so worth it!!!
