I had a great time. Enjoyed the pit area. My seat were good. Fun day with the family.

Hot day and expensive water, no good

by DannyFranchitti on 10/8/13Reliant Park - Houston

The event was good, however Houston's Grand Prix should be moved to early or late on the year. It was very hot and you have to buy water bottles for almost 5 dollars whick is unacceptable. Coolers with water should be accepted since it is an outdoors event

    Poor racing venue

by Tildini on 10/8/13Reliant Park - Houston

As avid open wheel spectator. ( 3 to 5 events a year) I am very disappointed with the track layout. Downtown Houston was much better for the spectators. I am familiar with the reason for the change as I attended the street races & worked as a corner worker in 2000. Ellington field would be much better. Without major changes I will not return. I made this decision on Saturday before the terrible wreck. Dario is my wife's favorite driver.

Great Race. Great Seats. Good Price. Only thing was the heat, which there's not much you can do there. Great time!

GP poorly run for drivers and fans

by oldsccaracer on 10/7/13Reliant Park - Houston

I LEFT THE EVENT BECAUSE I DID NOT FEEL SAFE IN STANDS, FELT WE WERE UNPROTECTED FROM JUST SUCH AND ACCIDENT... I WAS SURPRISED AND DISMAYED ON THE WALKING REQUIRED TO ENTER TRACK AND EVEN LEAVE...POORLY LAID OUT AND DOUBLED OR MORE THE WALKING NEEDED TO GET IN AND OUT...

    Grand Prix of Houston

    by dddd16 on 10/7/13Reliant Park - Houston

I fail to see the need for constant music. It was so loud as to drown out the PA speakers. It's not as if there was a crowd, nor a group, standing in front of the stage. We were by turn 7. Everything else about the event was outstanding.

    Grand Prix

Great even. Enjoyable. Just wish there was more covered areas/shade as the heat was brutal. I cool zone or splash area would have helped too.

Fun excitement at a reasonable price

by TheeNelsons on 10/7/13Reliant Park - Houston

First time to see Grand Prix. It was fun! Lots to see. Would definitely go again. The event needed more signage. There was some confusion as to where to go for General Admittance seating. Otherwise great seats...

    Grand Prix Prelims

by TheSwitz on 10/7/13Reliant Park - Houston

Very cool to see these machines up close and roaring by. The event was very hot, being in direct sunlight all day. I suggest a cool zone or giving away fans or umbrellas for those not prepared for the heat.

The seats were to narrow for a normal human and way too many restricted views. The food was good and the hospitality was excellent

Wow.....finally I have been waiting for this for years; I was at the first when they ran downtown at the GRB convention center. and the last at the Reliant Park. I was a volunteer then; would love to do it again. It is an awesome experience; my 10yr old loved it.
