About

Good Charlotte took the music world by storm in 2000 with their song “Little Things” and permanently made their place in history with the release of their second album The Young and the Hopeless. The band's high energy and light-natured lyrics were just the medicine people needed after the September 11 disaster. Good Charlotte brings their energy on tour; fans at a Good Charlotte concert are treated to a show by possibly the most fun band around. The guys from the band commonly reach out and grab hands with fans and sing directly to them, followed by an impressive display of jumping around and dancing. Their most recent single “Like It’s Her Birthday” reached the No. 7 spot on the ARIA Charts.

The Good Charlotte boys started as high school classmates inspired by the Beastie Boys to make a band in Waldorf, Maryland. These guys have grown from boys to men together, and they have shared their growth with their fans through their music. Since their first album release in 2000, Good Charlotte has won multiple awards for their music; their single “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” won Kerrang!’s Best Single award and MTV Video Music’s Viewer’s Choice award. The band itself won several awards for Favorite International Band, Best International Group and Best Alternative Rock. Good Charlotte is working on a new album that is set to release in 2014, and fans are anxious for what surprises it will hold. For those of you who weren't lucky enough to get a ticket to one of their other concerts, here is your chance; a tour is expected to follow their newest release.

All of the bands were absolutely incredible. Kept up a great vibe throughout the entire concert, never stopped the high energy surging throughout the room. Forever the Sickest was the band I went to see and they were beyond incredible. I had attended 3 of their concerts before and this was by far their best. Good Charlotte was just as amazing live as they were this summer when I saw them!!! However, if you ever attend a concert at First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN don't expect the workers to be very polite. They were extremely rude and disrespectful towards to the fans. Definitely be prepared to be disrespected.

Sold performance. Good live sound. Very entertaining interaction between brothers Joel and Benji, as well as good rapport with the audience. Worth checking out.

    Must See This Century

by LetsReview on 3/11/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Highly overlooked and underated was the opening act This Century. These guys rock and were just named one of the top 100 bands to watch in 2011 by AP Magazine! Forever the Sickest Kids were great! Good Charlotte was good. I felt like it was the FTSK and Good Charlotte Clique night with This Century being left out. At one point I seriously think Joel Madden forgot This Century's name! Definite must see and worth the money! GC played 19 songs!

    Good Charlotte always plays great

by GCFam4life on 3/11/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Good Charlotte never fails to impress. They play a long set-- nearly an hour and a half-- and pull a great mix from their catalog. They play for the fans. They respond to them, and take their requests. That being said, Good Charlotte fans will do ANYTHING to get to the front. If you value your personal space, this is not a show to attend. I'm not sure my feet actually touched the ground while they were playing. On the same subject, fans start showing up hours early for the show. I arrived two and a half hours before the doors opened and was still about 25 people back in line. After, everyone but the drummer Deano ran off without signing autographs. A bit of diva behavior, maybe. Deano was amazingly polite, funny, and patient with EVERYONE, though.

Crowd Surfer's oh how I dislike you!

by JPCK on 3/9/11Crocodile Rock - Allentown

Good Charlotte is amazing I've been to four of their shows and their always unforgettable. However, going to a show (sold-out) at Crocodile Rock is like asking to get brusied, almost knocked out, and dehydration that will make you wish it were only the dessert. I know that's what you think concerts should be like, but they don't need to be I've been to over 60 concerts and this one and another one were truly horrific. Not only are Forever the Sickest Kids fan the pushy, rude type they also crowd surf. Which is just how some fans are (and I totally accept that). They shoved everyone til we couldn't even move our hands then sent eight kids all in a row crowd surfing a girl fell and almost got trampled if it wasnt for me ripping her up and kids were still pushing. Now when Good Charlotte came on a nice space opened people just sang together, but the heat was unbearable. I was in the front and TEN, i really mean TEN girls got pulled out and TWO were seizing. That was the most I have ever seen get pulled out it was amazing that they continued. This place needs to not turn on the fans after the fouth band has played and they need a better set-up when it comes to the shoving. I hope there wasn't little kids there because they would have gotten destroyed. Although, Good Charlotte was amazing until the place stops sweating so much I'm not going back there again.

by BeckieEzz on 3/8/11Crocodile Rock - Allentown

Great show. One of the best GC shows ive been to so far! So much energy, interaction with fans & so much fun. Im always smiling ear to ear when I watch these boys! Great music with tons of meaning, delivered with personality. I purchased the CD of the show (recorded live while we were there) & cant stop listening to it. The twins are also gorgeous eye candy, which doesnt hurt ;)

Overall best Good Charlotte concert i've been too, out of 7 other shows. The venue was amazing, small but intimate, and Good Charlotte definitly made it a night we wouldnt forget. The Setlist was perfect, a nice mix of old and new, and the crowd was insane. Good Charlotte FOR LIFE!!!

by AllieHoffman on 3/8/11Crocodile Rock - Allentown

This Century and FTSK were great but the venue was so small! it was insane and we went out to meet ftsk and could not see the stage when we got back so we did not see good charlotte but both other bands were amazing and i loved talking to them afterwards. i went for this century and they were perfect like always

by sgutie on 3/7/11Crocodile Rock - Allentown

Show was amazing. Small venue which made it feel very intimate. Benji and Joel were humble and made the audience feel like they were truly a part of the show. The crowd rocked and so did the band. A night I will not forget!

    Intimate

by AGreene on 3/7/11Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

Good Charlotte was all I hoped for. The tickets were cheap and the set was short but I enjoyed every second! With 5 albums out how could it not be less than great. Joel & Benji are so funny and acted like typical brothers. I was disappointed in the lack of promotion for Good Charlotte. It should ahve been a sold out show even on a Thursday. It was good for us though it was like they were playing for us in their basement, totally personal!!!

    Awesome evening with Good Charlotte

by LPsDad on 3/6/11Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

Good Charlotte took the stage in the darkness with Cardiology playing as their intro, no surprise but very effective. They played most of the songs from this new album along with some of the best feature songs from the 1st, 2nd and 4th albums.
