Good Charlotte took the music world by storm in 2000 with their song “Little Things” and permanently made their place in history with the release of their second album The Young and the Hopeless. The band's high energy and light-natured lyrics were just the medicine people needed after the September 11 disaster. Good Charlotte brings their energy on tour; fans at a Good Charlotte concert are treated to a show by possibly the most fun band around. The guys from the band commonly reach out and grab hands with fans and sing directly to them, followed by an impressive display of jumping around and dancing. Their most recent single “Like It’s Her Birthday” reached the No. 7 spot on the ARIA Charts.
The Good Charlotte boys started as high school classmates inspired by the Beastie Boys to make a band in Waldorf, Maryland. These guys have grown from boys to men together, and they have shared their growth with their fans through their music. Since their first album release in 2000, Good Charlotte has won multiple awards for their music; their single “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” won Kerrang!’s Best Single award and MTV Video Music’s Viewer’s Choice award. The band itself won several awards for Favorite International Band, Best International Group and Best Alternative Rock. Good Charlotte is working on a new album that is set to release in 2014, and fans are anxious for what surprises it will hold. For those of you who weren't lucky enough to get a ticket to one of their other concerts, here is your chance; a tour is expected to follow their newest release.
Just awesome. Venue is great, easy to find. Price was resonable
I took my daughter because it was a bucket list band for her. It was absolutely amazing. I forgot how many awesome songs they had. The were incredibly genuine and engaging. I loved it
They played all the classics, kept the audience spirit high, and even got me down in the pit to dance it all out! Would definitely see again.
The venue was amazing, the staff was so polite and helpful throughout the entire event. I was extremely impressed with 20 Monroe Live!
This was my first concert and it was unforgettable!! I loved all of the bands and the vibe of the place! I have loved Good Charlotte since they first started playing and their concert was just a reminder of how awesome they are!! Will definitely be going to see them again and enjoy more concerts at Express Live!!!
Great show, great venue, great crowd. The sound system and the visual aspect of the show were both solid.
Good Charlotte put on an amazing show that I’m not soon to forget, the openers however we’re forgettable for the sole reason of it being hard to understand them.
it was bigger inside then i expected and very up to date. the stage was really wide so i felt like i could get closer
This venue was a good size, with a pretty big stage and lots of standing room. Thoroughly enjoyed!
That was an amazing show. I only wish the balcony was open. Good Charlotte rocked. The acoustics for SWS were kinda off but I still jammed nonetheless.
Amazing venue not a bad spot in the house, decent drink prices, awesome vibe during the whole concert! :) I'll never forget reliving my middle school days with friends and family jamming out to Good Charlotte !
It was my first time at the Fillmore and at a concert in a really long time and I did not like the general admission as I am 4'10" and had a hard time seeing the stage...
GC always manages to put on a fantastic, personable show, even if they are disasterly sick. Love seeing them in smaller venues like The Fillmore; gives the atmosphere a very homey touch. Can't wait to catch them again next year!
Sleeping with sirens was great! I love going to their shows never disappointed and the VIP experience was awesome!
Good Charlotte was amazing! I felt like I was reliving my teen years. Awesome show
I enjoyed the concert. Have been listening to Good Charlotte since 2011 when I came upon their CD in the library. Fell in love with their music.
First time we have been to a concert in florida usa. Hard rock live was an amazing venue and once again Good charlotte blew us away.
The opening "band" of a drummer and a single guitarist were pretty boring. Then Knuckle Puck took the stage and tried to get a mosh going and tried to get the crowd jumping and I only saw about five people moving. Sleeping With Sirens was fine but there was little to no audience interaction and they're just not my cup of tea. Good Charlotte was pretty great. They were powerful, skilled, and interacted a lot with the audience. Additional notes: seats at the venue were ridiculously overpriced. Thankfully free water was provided in large tap coolers throughout the show which saved this from being a 3-star review. TL:DR - I wouldn't be upset if I was two hours late and missed the first three bands; in fact I would have preferred sleeping in two hours longer.
Good Charlotte was everything I wanted and more. <3
Good Charlotte was easily the best concert I have ever been to!!!!!!!!!
