    Gonzaga vs KState

by myredcoug on 12/17/12KeyArena - Seattle

Great venue, atmosphere at the Seattle Center/Key Arena. They could have opened the doors earlier, and they have a bit too much bass in the sound system making the announcer difficult to hear, but the game was fun and we enjoyed it very much!

    Zags win again

by Montanan on 12/17/12KeyArena - Seattle

This was a totally awesome experience. The fans were pumped, the arena is great! Good access to food, beverage and bathrooms! We especially enjoyed the top ten moments from the past 10 years of the Battle in Seattle and the fact that Kevin Morrison was there in the audience.

    Gonzaga rules!!!!

by Mortty on 12/17/12KeyArena - Seattle

This was a great event, that was well organized. They have it every year, and anyone who loves big-time college basketball should attend.

    Zags Played Well

by ZagFanReconsidering on 12/20/11KeyArena - Seattle

Don't always expect a win, but always expect effort. Today the Zags gave us effort for the full 40 minutes. If I'd come to watch Arizona I'd have been disappointed.

    Fun for whole family

by GonzagaMa on 12/20/11KeyArena - Seattle

We have 3 sons, so going to the Nutcracker is out. However, we may have found a new holiday tradition ... The Battle in Seattle! College basketball is a blast and Key Arena is still a fun venue, even if the pros consider it inferior. Great basketball with plenty of silliness ... entertaining for all ages, and even more so if you have a GU student in the Kennel Club ... a glimpse into his college life.

Another great game for Zag fans. This has become an annual event for myself and family. Gotta love the pre-function!

    Go Zags!!

by CyranoDeBee on 12/19/11KeyArena - Seattle

Wonderful event. Excellent venue. Seats were totally unobstructed, seating was comfortable. Overhead big screens added to the excitement of the game. It was a beautiful day in Seattle inside and outside of Key Arena. We will definitely do the Battle in Seattle again.

    Hard-fought win by Gonzaga

by Hammando on 12/19/11KeyArena - Seattle

Started out with a 14-0 run, AZ didn't score in the first 5 minutes. The rest of the game however Gonzaga didn't lose its lead but AZ did get as close as 6 points. Referring was pretty bad, all questionable calls going to AZ, I just figured the refs wanted a closer game that it would have been without those bad calls. Good win for the Zags after losing to Illinois in 2010/

    BC Basketball Classic

by postrider on 11/22/11Rogers Arena (formerly General Motors Place) - Vancouver

Great game to watch with the local Canadian players coming home to showcase. Basketball is NOT big at all in Canada. There were about 9,000 fans in attendance, so I was told by the ushers to move my group (4) up as close as we wanted. Purchased 20.00 tichets and got to sit in the 100.00 seats. autograph signing for kids 12 and under was a mess afterwards though. Lady was selling mini basketballs for 20.00. My 10 year old son just took off his Gonzaga t-shirt and handed it to Kelly Olynyk for a signing. Overall a good time.

Great venue, great atmosphere. It would have been better if more people were there... but it still rocked.

    Gonzaga v. Hawaii game

by Mauirob on 11/21/11Rogers Arena (formerly General Motors Place) - Vancouver

Great venue and game. However, the second row courtside seats, for which I paid premium price, were level with first row courtside and so sight was not the best and somewhat restricted. These were high $ seats, and while I realize that Rogers arena is not ordinarily a basketball venue, in the future, a slight elevation between first and second row would be recommended and appropriate.

    Gonzaga won

by TranceFix on 11/21/11Rogers Arena (formerly General Motors Place) - Vancouver

It was a fun game, I was impressed with the venue. However, there weren't very many people there, so the energy in the arena was lacking.
