Golden State Warriors History
Founded in 1946, the Warriors called the city of Philadelphia home for 16 memorable years before moving to the West Coast in 1962 to become the San Francisco Warriors. In 1971, the Golden State Warriors were born when the team moved across the Bay to Oakland.
The team's storied history includes seven NBA Championships, an NBA-record 73 wins during the 2015–16 season, eight players named to the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team and 31 members inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
The Golden State Warriors also have the distinction of having the third most NBA Championships to their name (seven), and the third-most appearances in the NBA Finals (11). The only teams that have more are the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics. The current team is led by two-time league MVP Stephen Curry, who won the Clutch Player of the Year Award in 2024, and eight-time All-NBA Defensive selection Draymond Green. The Golden State Warriors’ most recent NBA Championship came in 2022.

Golden State Warriors at Chase Center

I left in the beginning of 4th quarter as I couldn't stand to see how much points (30 pts) we were loosing by. I would love to have a refund but that's obviously never going to happen.

I had so much fun at the Warrior game. If they would have lost it would be only a little bit dissapointing because the atmosphere was great.

I have been going to warrior games for a while and this is by far the WORST GAME I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I STILL LOVE MY WARRIORS and WILL KEEP SUPPORTING THEM! GO WARRIORS

To put into words how the Warriors played is not enough. They got blown out by a winless team by 30 points at HOME! Don't go!

Stadium was easy to get to. Seats weren't great, but still had fun and the warriors won. Def. worth checking out especially if you can find a deal on tickets.

Great family fun

He was screaming his head off, sorry about that (to the guys sitting in front of me). I love the fact that they let the kids down on the court to shoot a freethrow after the game. I do wish that they had more ways for the people in the "cheap" seats to get tshirts and pizza that they throw out. I would attend again...go Warriors!!

Didn't really enjoy witnessing Steven Jackson's attitude and lack of aggression but hopefully we'll take care of that next season!! Other than that everything was great! Can't wait to go again!!!

Who would have thought I would have really liked it! We sat at center court near the front of the upper level and I could see the game far better than I ever did on the lower level.
