Golden Girls Tickets

My partner and I attended the matinee performance and it was worth while. The cast was very good, each actor played their role perfectly. I was somewhat surprised that the Blanche character wasn't more involved. The story line left something to be desired at times. The first act was quite short but at least the second made up for. Overall for a campy show of one of my favorite TV shows, it was cute and good. I recommend it. Maybe with a little more tweeking.

Had I known This show, golden girls drag was going to be so rated X Had I known, I would not have bought tickets. It was disgusting Lou language that wasn’t fit for general audience.

The funny part was I had new clue when I purchased the tickets that the actors were men dressed as woman. The show was hilarious! I absolutely loved it.

It was funny and ok. Not great. Characters did a fairly good job.

The Golden Girls was a show I would go see again and again. I laughed the whole time. The writer did an amazing job sticking to the original story line and adding a whole new twist. The amount of adults jokes and one liners was just fabulous.

Loved the memories and the show. Clever all male casting made it actually funnier!

The show was freaking awesome!!! I can’t stop talking about it. The cast was phenomenal. Best show ever. I had such a good time. My seats were awesome.

Funny parts but very slapstick. Some of the actors were pretty good but some were not. They did adlib well.

I grew up watching The Golden Girls and I am a huge drag queen fan, so I was very excited to see this production! There were times this play made me lol and other times it made me cringe. The actors in the role of Dorothy and Rose were spot on - absolutely nailed it! I feel they really missed the mark on casting for Blanche - they were missing the "ample bosom", exaggerated mannerisms and overall flamboyancy. Also missing the mark was the role of Sophia - this performance truly fell flat most of the time. Most of the dialog aiming for humor was great, there were a couple of references that several of us (strangers) in the same seating area were questioning each other to the meaning - I had to consult the urban dictionary later. (it is true you can learn something new every day!) Overall, glad I went, I was very sad for the cast that attendance was very poor for this performance at the grand Hippodrome theater.

Well done and fun. Enjoyed reminiscing on a whole new episode and a whole new level which we totally enjoyed. This is the “not for TV” episode we were all running in our imagination that finally came to pass! Thank you for bringing back sweet fond memories of simple happiness from growing up in a simpler easier time. Your casting was sublime, they captured essence of the way it was.

The show was excellent, very entertaining! The performers were fantastic and at times truly made me believe I was watching the original cast.

Very funny show and updated to today! When I bought the tickets I didn’t realize it was drag but it made the show even funnier!

This show was HILARIOUS. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it did NOT disappoint. Dorothy and Rose sounded eerily like the originals, and the commercial breaks were amazingly nostalgic. Sooooooo glad I didn't miss this!

This show was hilarious! We laughed from beginning to end. We only wish the show was longer. An hour show with a 20 minute intermission. We wanted to laugh even longer!
