Show was great but some operations issues. Unable to transfer prepaid parking to another car. Caused a lot of trouble getting in and out of garages. Prepaid line to leave garage but attendants wouldn’t let us in. No clear exit to garage signs. Did 20 mins of lost looping until we found correct stair exit. Show ran too late for a school/work night.
Would have liked to have seen more gymnastics and less dance.
Show did not end well, kind of petered out. However the first half was fantastic
took my daughter and neice to the show. they loved it, but the technical difficulties experienced made the show extremely long. Also, I think they need more jumbo screens for us cheap seat ppl! It was really hard to see details and it would have been nice to see faces better. Overall, it was a good experience. My daughter loved it.
I wish I could say this was all our little girls have dreamt about but it was just not what we expected. There was way more dancing and way less gymnastics than expected. Then half way through the program it took almost a full our to come back from intermission due to audio technical difficulties. There was one gymnast Laurie Hernandez who really stepped up and tried her best to keep everyone entertained. She was working really hard but at 9:30 on a Sunday evening to just start getting to the second act is just too late for the majority of the audience. My kids were exhausted and had to leave. For this type of show it should never have been a 7pm Sunday start.
The gymnasts were fantastic and their athletic feats were spectacular. They had great energy and a wonderful ability to improvise. The support for mental health and positive self-esteem were good messages. The overall production, though, was deeply DISAPPOINTING. The emphasis on sexy dance moves & glitzy production numbers was disturbing. Turning these serious athletes into sex objects was devaluing. The music was way too loud and the technical delays were a big drag; though the fact that it forced improvisation on the part of the gymnasts was a blessing. No music, just pure athleticism. Needed more of that!
Such a sweet show and what an example to set for the thousands of little girls in the audience. Great job putting this show together and stay golden!
It was very enjoyable to start by unfortunately there were technical difficulties and after about a half hour we left so I did not get to experience the second hair. Which i imagine was the meat of the show.
The show itself was amazing! The biggest issue was the 20 minute intermission turned into 1:15 due to an audio issue. While the women did a beautiful job coming out to entertain the crowd for about 20 minutes, this made the show extremely long and the audience were left in the dust about what was happening.
The first half of the show was fun, well put together, with lots to watch. The second half? Well, after a 20 minute intermission, they had a handstand contest and didn’t know what else to do, and took another intermission. That should have been better planned…
On top of the very lengthy delay because of technical difficulties with the music, there was so little gymnastics And so confusing to watch, the show was monumentally disappointing.
Thanks for the amazing show always, thanks for bring good shows and follow with the excellent job
I loved the underlying message to aspiring gymnasts and to all young ladies trying to find their passion and their voice. The technical diffuculties turned into my favorite part of the show, and I hope the gymnasts and dancers had as much fun inprovising as we had watching! Laurie as emcee was spectacular, and everyone rose to the occasion, underscoring their message even more - if things don't go as planned, sometimes what you end up with is even better than you imagined!! Thank you for a night to remember forever and an example of true greatness.
Lots of waiting in line. Stadium needed to organize the pre-event better. And then when we finally got inside, there were incredibly long lines for food and merchandise. Chalktalk had originally indicated a private shopping experience. I would not purchase a pre-event again.
Great show. Great energy. terrific messages. Demonstrated women strength. Physically mentally and resiliency! So much better than just a gymnastic demonstration. Kudos to Simone, Laurie and all the amazing gymnasts and dancers.
The program itself was ok, somewhat underwhelming given that the skills were really scaled back. Then there was a major technical glitch that lasted about an hour forcing people with young kids to either leave in the middle or deal with a super late night. I felt bad for Laurie Hernandez and all the gymnasts and dancers who had to come out and try to “buy some time” for the tech team (who unfortunately, looked as though they were operating with minimal urgency).
While the performers were fantastic, the second half never started. No sound. We waited pver an hour and the girls is impromptu stunts, but we finally left after waiting 75 minutes for the show to continue. Bummer.
Even though there were some technical difficulties the ladies did their best to bring the show. We loved it!
Venue was crowded & unorganized on arrival. Seats were squished and poor visibility. Concessions were limited & lines at merchandise were huge and unorganized. No venue signage as we came down from balcony during show and escalators did not go back up—no signage regarding using stairs and attendants twice sent us to escalators that did not go up at the time. Technical difficulties during show. Show itself was entertaining & well planned.
