GNASH IN CONCERT:

Rising pop sensation Gnash cracked the Top 40 in early 2016 with his single "I Hate U, I Love U" (feat. Olivia O'Brien), and he's been killing it ever since on his u, me and us tour. Gnash is all about collaboration – each track on his lush 2016 EP us featured a duet, and he often surprises fans at his shows by bringing out guest vocalists like Olivia O'Brien to sing with him. Gnash recorded the EP in his parents' garage, but you'd never know it – the finely crafted collection of minimal, R&B-influenced ballads shimmers with restrained synth, piano, and electronic beats that create a hypnotic world of hauntingly beautiful melodies and ethereal rhythms. In concert he performs his dreamy tracks with just the right combination of swagger and emotion, taking the stage in his signature sunglasses and encouraging the crowd to sing along to each anthemic chorus. With his warm voice, subtle production, and ear for insanely catchy hooks, Gnash is a must-see for ticket buyers looking to get a glimpse of pop's tastefully understated future.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

LA-based singer-songwriter Gnash, aka Garrett Nash, started DJing in his teens and began producing pop music in his parents' garage while attending college at the University of Southern California. He made his debut in 2015 with the EP u, and in 2016 his sophomore EP us cracked the Billboard 200 thanks to the Top 40 hit "I Hate U, I Love U." Gnash's quick road to success had much to do with the Internet – "I Hate U, I Love U" featured vocals from Olivia O'Brien, a previously unknown singer he discovered via social media, and YouTube star Andrea Russett boosted the track's exposure when she shared it with her fans on Snapchat. The resulting attention took Gnash by surprise – within a year he had racked up tens of millions of plays on Spotify and Soundcloud and performed on Late Night With Seth Myers. Since then he's released a third EP simply titled me and wowed on tour with stellar performances that showcase his impressive voice and knack for writing minimal yet powerful pop earworms.

the artists were small but talented, and, not having heard many of them before the show, i was definitely entertained. gnash himself was even better than i had ever imagined him being, which was amazing in the first place. he was a wonderful guy when i met him as well. the sleepover theme was unique, and seemingly enjoyed by the fans and the artists alike! i'm definitely gonna go see gnash again when he comes back to boston!

by julieee1 on 4/24/17Paradise Rock Club - Boston

The concert was amazing. I had so much fun, since the beginning with the opening acts till the end with the energy that Gnash had. His voice is so relaxing, but at the same time he knows how to make the people appreciate and enjoy the experience, because he knows how to act well on stage. I would 100% recommend it to anyone and I can't wait to see him again!!

The sleepover tour was so amazing. Got to hear some new artists and listen to my most favorite artist, Gnash!! He was amazing even though he had the flu. I had the flu and it was terrible. I have no idea how he was able to perform that well. I couldn't even get out of bed. He's so amazing. I can't wait to see him again <3

    Best night of my life!

by GoodyGraceBaby on 10/13/16Brighton Music Hall - Boston

Gnash and his crew truly know how to put on an unforgettable show. The venue was small, yet very intimate. There wasn't so many people that it was unpleasant to be in the music hall. Everyone in the crowd was fun and simply wanted to enjoy the show, rather than bother other concert goers by pushing and shoving. His openers were just as talented and I actually enjoyed their songs. When Gnash finally came on, of course he stole the show and captivated the audience with his fun, even moving at times lyrics. My favorite part of the night was after the show at the meet and greet. I didn't wait a long time to meet Gnash. They kept the line going without making it really feel rushed. Both Gnash and his girlfriend, Rosa, were so so nice and down to earth. While I waited, I also got to meet and get a picture with Goody Grace and Mark Johns, two awesome and also very down to earth people. Gnash and his gang were the probably the most genuine performers I've ever met, treating everyone with the same enthusiasm and excitement that they received. Overall, it was truly a night to remember and I would not hesitate to go back to see Gnash.

I would highly recommend gnash, goody grace, mark johns, and triangle park to anyone. They are all incredibly talented and share nothing but good vibes.
