Gloria Trevi on Tour

In the late ‘80s, Gloria Trevi made her live singing debut on the biggest Mexican variety show at the time and proceeded to shock the world when she was censored on national television for her daringly outrageous performance of "Dr. Psiquiatra." And thus Trevi's shock-pop was born — and so was one of the most notorious artists of our era. Her performances brim with high drama, outlandish theatrics and plenty of sass, and the original Mexican wild child continues to dazzle audiences the world over via her irresistible moxie. On her 2019 North American tour, in support of her pop album Diosa de la Noche, audiences of all ages got an opportunity to see a truly legendary and multifaceted pop performer.

Born Gloria de los Ángeles Treviño Ruiz in Monterrey, Mexico, in 1968, the singer-songwriter moved to Mexico City during her teenage years to conquer Spanish-language pop, which she righteously did. Along the way, Trevi also rewrote the Latin pop playbook in a time when female performers were expected to be glamorous or wholesome. Though her biting critique on machismo and religious hypocrisy delivered via her unmistakable rasp, Trevi stunned the nation with her reinvention of what a pop star looks like. While she became a celebrated and much-needed voice for Mexican feminists everywhere, she also endured what is perhaps the biggest scandal of the music industry during the late ‘90s. Rising from the ashes like a phoenix, this superstar came back fiercer than ever in the mid ‘00s. As remarkably complex as she is, Trevi can be whatever she pleases: A theatrical femme fatale, or a soul-baring and passionate singer. But one thing that is certain throughout is that she is a one-of-a-kind creator.

    Great show. Good outfits and she sings well. The theater was beautiful and the sound was great with minor issues. I would improve the time start. They were late. But great experience

    I pay for a fast lane but at the event there was no line at all, very comfortable place, the bar around the general admision was great, the closeness from the stage to my favorite singer was amazing, price for the ticket was great, everything was more than expected. I trust to pay with ticketmaster

    I was shocked and in awed at how much energy Gloria Trevi has! She was constantly dancing and singing. It seem like she an outfit change for each song. I loved all her songs even the new ones were easy to bob your head along! And the background/stage visuals was also really impressive.

    Show itself was amazing, Gloria sure knows how to put on a show, have seen her a few times and she never disappoints. My only issue is with the venue itself, to get into the place took the line was awfully long, seats were easy to find, a bit on the tiny side. Somehow people from the upper sections end up in front of mine. Maybe logistic wise the place needs improvement. Also there was a game happening at the arena so was a little more chaotic

    This was the best Gloria Trevi concert I’ve ever seen!! She was amazing, her dancers, band, sets/lights, etc were all flawless. The audio quality was legit studio quality.

    I loved how small the venue is so the concert felt a lot more personal. I am so glad I got front row tickets as well because I love Gloria Trevi. I was so close to her and it felt like a dream. One of the best concerts I’ve been to! :) Hopefully she comes again.

    Ticketmaster was best resource for events ever. They are with you all the way making sure you are getting what you paid for. Thank you ticketmaster for being so professional, helpful and friendly. Gloria Trevi concert was great. I went to see Gloria with my partner who grow up listening to Gloria on the other hand I never heard of her. Let's just say I enjoyed every minute of it even though I don't speak Spanish. Gloria Trevi was great entertainer . Fantastic.

    So originally I was there to take my wife to the show be a use she is a huge fan but not being one myself I didn't expect much from the show but boy was I wrong. Her performance was excellent, she was engaging with her audience, she played song after son and never missed a beat. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
