This was my second Givers show & it was awesome. Music Hall of Williamsburg is an intimate venue with a variety of great views & acoustics. Made enjoying this talented band so easy. Was able to get a great spot up close. Loved every minute of it! Can't wait till they come back into town
GIVERS are absolutely incredible... The intensity and passion they have onstage is completely unmatched! I would go back as see them every day of the week if I could. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
Givers bring incredible energy to their set. You will not find yourself standing still watching this band from Lafayette, Louisiana.
The Givers sound their best live, and the Music Hall's acoustics were great for them.
Such refreshing music no. 1! Passionate, passionate performers. So much heart!!! ........such talent is such a privilege to behold! Great great great!
They aren't taking anything for granted and definitely GIVE their best effort each time I've seen them, but this show was pretty special. Their energy was fantastic. And the Talking Heads medley was such a great surprise. Crowd was a bit dense and some people pushed past me hard, but it wasn't unbearable.
This band is on the way to the top. they are incredibly humble and honestly don't know how good they are. This was the best live performance i have ever seen in my entire life. I love them.
Fantastic venue for an up-and-coming band like Givers. The Kopecky Family Band rocked the house as the openers. They did a great job getting everyone pumped up with their trombones and wonderful voices. Givers worked their drums like nobody's business and sent everyone on a wild ride with their great tunes.
Great energy on stage and great dancing songs to back it up. There is no downtime in their set. Down to earth people who are personable & grateful enough to meet fans after the show despite putting on shows night after night for over a month. This country needs more people like this.
They are truly amazing. Bright danceable music and a ton of energy the whole set. The place was packed and people were really enjoying it. I think they'll be pretty big in a couple of years so go see them before that happens
This band is so much fun and so on point!! And, as always, the accoustics and view from all corners of Bowery were excellent.
GIVERS make good albums, but they put on amazing shows. Their sound and energy live is unmatched by any other group I've ever seen. As Tif Lamson mentioned on stage, she and Taylor Guarisco (the two fronts of the group) are best friends and it shows through in the best way possible. Their personalities come alive and you can't help but dance and smile. Their shows are invigorating. Their shows are incredible.
I attended this show on a whim after downloading their new single 'Up, Up, Up," off of Amazon, after hearing it on Hype Machines popular list. I was THOROUGHLY surprised at how much I enjoyed this show. The band had SO much energy, were really entertaining, and the female singer was incredibly talented. Her voice and the emotion she put into her vocals resembled Janis Joplin. While her duet partner, had just as much energy on stage. Great, great, great. I will see them again when I get the chance, and by that time I'll probably enjoy it more because I'll know all the words to their songs.
givers are a great new band, bring them back to NYC
