While I enjoyed the music, the virtuosity, and the energy, my experience was marred by too much loudness (I guess I anticipated "flamenco concert", not "rock concert", so maybe that was my fault not to bring ear protection), and people standing in front of me from the get-go, forcing me to stand up and sit down repeatedly. The Kings themselves were great.

I enjoyed every minute. Yes one of the originals, Tonino and the rest are a newer members but I loved them! Their voices, the energy was unforgettable. This concert was good for my soul. Same songs but with new voices that add a new touch. It was refreshing. I can’t wait for them to return to San Diego. Highly recommend!
Gypsy kings is my ones from my favorite. It was very good see them and listen theirs songs. My husband and I love that kind of guitar music. I am waiting for Dire straits in njpac.
I had a wonderful time. The location was perfect, the center was lovely and the concert was hands down the best I have attended. Great performance from the Gipsy Kings! Loved it!!❤️❤️

We had the most incredible time at this concert! The music had everyone up on their feet dancing and singing. Such an incredible group of talented musicians. Can’t wait to see them again with friends!!

This is not the original Gipsy Kings. It’s a completely different band with Tonino playing guitar alongside 3-4 other guitarists, drummer, bass player, pianist and 2-3 vocalists. I’ve seen the Gipsy kings multiple times in different states and they are fantastic. This cover band is good and we had fun, but it’s not the original band. The promoter should change the name of this to “Tonino Baliardo formerly of the Gipsy Kings”. If you research Gipsy Kings Australia lawsuit, you’ll find a similar instance happened there with another original member and they had to change the name of the concert so fans wouldn’t be mislead. Tonino actually released a statement in that case which is how I felt after attending his show with this cover band. “The major concern was that fans of the Gipsy Kings will be disappointed when they attend the Andre Reyes’ concerts coming in May and find the artists singing the lead vocals and playing lead guitar are NOT the ones who have toured Australia a number of times and sing lead and play lead guitar on the Gipsy Kings recordings.”
It was great everything well done with security. My only thing was the chairs, this is dancing music it was uncomfortable because some people wouldn't stand up and we were blocking their view and we didn't have enough space to move, other than that it was amazing.
The Gipsy Kings concert was phenomenal. They performed extremely well both in vocal and instrumental. The band was able to engage the audience and everyone was singing alone and dancing. If you have not seen the Gipsy Kings or it has been a while, don't miss them.

It was an experience like no other ! Incredible talent and the venue wasn’t too high which provided a more intimate experience! Would definitely go back
Venue was perfect not too big, the show was amazing, The Gypsy Kings guitar playing is awesome. The pace of the concert was perfect. I danced and sang along to most of the songs. I would go again given the opportunity.
The concert itself was great. More than what I expected it to be. The only thing that we were sitting on the balcony and when people stood up, it felt like it was going to collapse, shaking too much. May want to take a look at that. Other than that BEAUTIFUL

What I didn’t understand was: Why don’t they tell you ahead of time how this balcony shakes so much😱 I thought it was going to collapse, I am not exaggerating, I was almost in a state of panic. If I ever go back to the performing art center in San José, I will purchase tickets for the bottoms floor, towards the front.

CPA could use a long overdue remodel , however, acoustics remain top notch. The Nicolas Reyes replaced younger vocalists were outstanding!! Some of the solo portions of the songs were the highlights of the show. The enthusiastic audience clearly enjoyed the show and spent most of the evening singing and dancing on their feet!!!
