After following the Gypsy Kings over 30 years what a delight to still see Nicolas Reyes leading these wonderful new young generation‼️ they were fantastic and so happy to have gone to see them. Love love
Gipsy Kings had the entire audience rocking from beginning to end. Last couple of numbers had us all on our feet, clapping, dancing, whistling. The best concert I've attended in a long time. I left smiling.
What a great show! Very enjoyable. The music and musicianship was top class. The singing was passionate with most of the band taking their turn at the mic. They generated so much enthusiasm in the audience.
The Gipsy Kings were absolutely phenomenal - their energy, their talent, their sound - everything was beyond my expectations.
The concert was awesome featuring the best of these musicians! So happy they are touring and came to this area! I think the acoustics or sound management could have been much better, so much overpowering background noise it was really hard to hear much of the beauty of the melodies. But has a terrific time! Great crowd!
If this group is in your area don’t miss them! Amazing talent
We had to wait for actual concert for more than an hour. They fill out the time with some guy playing and singing completely unrelated street kind of music. Me and my wife were actually ready to live the theatre. Gipsy Kings played for one hour only. Good music but nothing more. I wish it was in some form of prepared show where English speaking announcer would introduce the story about the group. Provide origins of those song and music. It was just like on the radio, the list of songs and they were done, goodbye.
The band was excellent; however, sound was not calibrated well. The instruments and reverberation were far too loud. Could barely hear vocals, which was extremely unfortunate for this particular group.
This was a great and fun concert. We had two perfect front row seats in front of the stage and these seats couldn’t have been been better.
I really enjoyed the show except for the lights. Sitting in the front row when the very white lights blasted us in the face, it was impossible to look up at the stage without pain. I will wear sunglasses next time.
My husband and I have been trying to see the Gipsy Kings for a few years now. Timing was never right but last night we were able to check this off of our bucket list. Yes, it's not the original Gypsy Kings from the 1980's but somehow BETTER with the introduction of family members! Nicolas Reyes still has it and can bring an audience to their feet. The evening flew by and seemed like it was ending just after it started! They came out for an encore that brought the house down. Would absolutely see them again and again!
The good: The theater is brand new an acoustics are quite good. Staff is excellent; quickly thru entrance and no waiting for concessions. Oh, and Nicolas still brings it!! The nit so good: shows often don’t start when advertised. Try’s here. Billed as 7pm show but that is when doors open. Nobody seemed to know that because the queue was ridiculous. And the “warm up” guy was the t- shirt seller who would be better suited playing in Potbelly’s. Absolutely whiny and mismatched for the main event. Conclusion- glad we went. Have seen Gipsy kings many times over the last 25 years. They are a soundtrack to our life. Volare!
Wonderful clean venue, the sound was great and the band was excellent. Gypsy Kings really rocked the house! The only thing that I was annoyed with was that the event said it was for 7pm, and they did not come out until 9pm. I get that sometimes the music may not start exactly at 7 but waiting two hours was over the top. They needed to come out sooner as I was not expecting them to come out so late.
The show was outstanding. Doors opened at 7 but they came on at 9. That would have been nice to know. Could of had dinner
We had a wonderful night at the Gypsy Kings (with Nicolas Reyes) concert the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery! The drive down from Canada was well worth the effort! The Spanish guitar, singing and instrumentals were top notch! It was a completely magical & inspiring experience! We were transported to another world! They are definitely one of our favourite bands that never disappoint!!! Looking forward to their next visit to this part of the world!!!
I first learned about the Gipsy Kings when I studied Spanish in Spain. I then heard them again in Albuquerque, NM, Santa Rosa, CA, and most recently in Woodinville, WA. I always love their professional performances, and only wish there was more room to dance.
The band is still able to get people up and dance. I personally like the original lineup with more vocalists.
As always .. the gypsy kings were amazing. However, CSM is ridiculous to start taking more and more space away from the low chair open seating, leaving us with little space to make a few extra $. Dissappointeed
Having seen the Gipsy Kings so many times I was disappointed in the quality and duration of the music. The opening act (Al) was awful. I think I’ll skip them next year.
We enjoy those songs and danced along. So much fun!
