BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Gilberto Santa Rosa, known affectionately as "El Caballero de la Salsa" (Gentleman of Salsa), hails from Carolina, Puerto Rico, where he got his start as a backup singer in several orchestras—experiences that allowed him to hone his signature vocal style. He formed his own band in 1986 and immediately began racking up hits, including "Good Vibration," "De Amor y Salsa," and "Perspectiva." The ever-prolific Santa Rosa has consistently released albums almost every year since his debut, and as of 2010 he holds the record for having the most number one records on the Billboard Tropical Albums chart.
It was my first time seeing him. I love his carisma, voice and professionalism. Overall the whole orquesta was great. I truly enjoyed watching him. Definitely one of my favorite. Recommend 100%

Gilberto was a true salsa master. He performed for over 2 and 1/2 hours. No breaks. All his hits. I can’t wait to see him again.
He's always amazing, and DPAC is a great theater to attend any event.
Access into the DPAC was very organized and seating was fantastic, facility was very clean and the bartender and vendor crew at the concession stands were very polite and very friendly and professional. This was a smaller venue than your normal arena, but it was pleasant, comfortable and festive to say the least. Concert started on time and Mr Santa Rosa was phenomenal, he performed for 3 hours non-stop. He was a true class act. My family and I were truly impress with the performance and the overall experience.
I went to New York 30 years ago to see Gilberto Santa Rosa in concert 30 years later I couldn’t miss his spectacular show he gave last Saturday …was an Excellent show 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Gilberto Santa Rosa sang for 2 1/2 hours straight thru without a break! His show and performance was amazing!!!!! He sang all the hits and also interacted with the audience, was so Gracious in introducing his entire huge band one by one, every musician was so graciously introduced to the audience in length!

Gilberto SantaRosa is truly a class act. Great Performance Great Band Great audience interaction The tribute to Tito Rojas … amazing. A certain other successful Salsa/entertainer should take notes on how to perform for an audience as his last (expensive) performances have been tired and lackluster.
