About

GHOST continues to elevate and reaffirm its status as one of the world's most esteemed and celebrated creative forces. Accumulating well over a billion streams, the GRAMMY-winning Swedish theatrical rock band continues to bring the "euphoric spectacle" (ROLLING STONE) of its live shows to ever-growing and increasingly impassioned crowds, headlining arena tours including sold out shows from The Forum in Los Angeles and Barclays Center in New York to London's O2 Arena and Stockholm's Avicii Arena. In March 2022, THE LOS ANGELES TIMES reported in a Calendar cover story that Ghost had "conquered metal and the charts" when its fifth album IMPERA debuted at #1 in a sweep of the U.S. album charts, entering the BILLBOARD 200 at #2 and bowing at #1 in the band's native Sweden as well as Germany and Finland, while cracking the top 5 in the UK (#2), Netherlands (#2), Belgium (#2), Canada (#3), Australia (#3), France (#5), Ireland (#5), and more. Produced by Klas Åhlund and mixed by Andy Wallace -- and featuring "Spillways"--hailed as a "sweetly constructed rock tune" by THE NEW YORK TIMES, the #7 YouTube trending "Call Me Little Sunshine," and Active Rock #1 radio single "Hunter's Moon" -- IMPERA finds Ghost transported centuries forward from the Black Plague era of its previous  album, 2018 Best Rock Album GRAMMY nominee Prequelle--or as ROLLING STONE put it, "Ghost predicted the pandemic, Now the metal band is foretelling the fall of empires." The result is the most ambitious and lyrically incisive entry in the Ghost canon: Over the course of IMPERA's 12-song cycle, empires rise and fall, would-be messiahs ply their hype (financial and spiritual alike), prophecies are foretold as the skies fill with celestial bodies divine and man-made... All in all, the most current and topical Ghost subject matter to date is set against a hypnotic and darkly colorful melodic backdrop making IMPERA a listen like no other -- yet unmistakably, quintessentially Ghost.

Ghost is the best band to see live

    by C. O. on 10/9/23

I have seen them 6 times now and they just keep getting better and better. It's so theatrical and atmospheric. From the band to the fans, it's the ultimate experience. So much energy. Best way to describe it is: it's like going to church but without the guilt.

    Amazing Live Band!!! Must see!!

by LadyMetal on 10/3/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

My friend and I went to see both Ghost shows at the LA Forum and they were both amazing events!!! I really liked the Forum and it's staff was pretty courteous and helpful. I also liked the fact that we had to use the Yonder bags for locking up our phones so we could experience the show phone free! It was an easy in and out experience with the bags and the show didn't suffer with phones in the air the whole time. It was like being at a show before phones where you could totally be immersed in the experience and what an experience!! Ghost did two shows in a row there for a live recording/filming for an upcoming album/DVD? I love this band, and have been to several "Rituals"now, and these two were quite a spectacle!! They always put on killer shows with costume changes, fire pots and confetti, but these ones were special. We were given two extra songs that haven't either been played or played in a while, so we were very surprised! Also saw some dancers onstage with choreography, which isn't a normal thing at a Ghost show, but it was a huge surprise!! The sound was spectacular and so were the lights and the setlist was perfect!! Papa was charming and fun as he always is, and the Ghouls were fantastic!! The crowd was allowed to Cosplay, as long as there weren't actual masks, so a lot of people dressed up in to the nines and everyone was super excited!! We met a ton of people from all walks of life, from all over the world with all ages and genders. The whole experience was special and everyone, including us, had a wonderful time. Ghost puts on one of the most entertaining and fun shows out there!! They are a must see for any rock/metal fan!!

    Amazing Experience

    by V. S. on 10/1/23

Ghost sounds so great live! Got to see them in Connecticut and New Jersey and it was absolutely fantastic both times. Papa does a great job of working the crowd between songs and seems to know a bit about each area that they’re playing in, making the experience even more special. The band is also fun to watch and everyone’s stage presence is amazing. If you’re a fan of them in any capacity, you ABSOLUTELY NEED to see them live!

    Phenomenal Live Performance

    by limesquared on 9/29/23

Ghost is one of those bands you HAVE to see live if you enjoy their sound at all. Papa and his ghouls are great showmen and the performance was very entertaining. Papa’s voice sounded great and it really shines live. We went to the Cynthia Woods venue in Houston and it was fantastic. Eagerly waiting for the next time they tour. Remember, if you have Ghost you have everything!

    Best Concert Ever

    by A. T. on 9/24/23

I’m not a frequent concert-goer, but this is by far the best one I’ve been to. I only go to artists that I listen to a lot, and Ghost sure knows how to put on a show. The stagecraft, audience interactions, and inclusivity of their performance was incredible. Never have I ever felt so devastated for it to end. The prices were very reasonable and DEFINITELY going to another ritual in the future 🫶🏽☺️

This was by far the best concert I have ever been to. The theatrics, the music, the interaction with the audience. Chef's kiss. Amon Amarth was incredible.

    Incredible

by Bree on 9/20/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

Ghost was an absolute amazing show that made me feel alive. The only issue I had were the seats were too small but we stood for most of the time anyways. Rocked our hearts out and loved every minute of it.

Went for music, fell in love with performance

by Newghoul on 9/19/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

Got a ticket because I had bought a few albums (Impera, Phantomime) and their music pulled me in. Now that I can say I saw a live performance, I was positively blown away!!! For a first timer going to a Ghost concert it might be a little different, considering the visuals and spectacle of the performance, but once you get over the initial shock and you come to fully immerse yourself it becomes a lifetime experience. At the performance I went to there were no phones were allowed. They locked them in a pouch but they let you hold onto your device. The no phone thing was great though!! It allowed the crowd to get into the performance 100% and it was like the way concerts used to be based on my older friends/family. I would 100% go see Ghost again, and might acctually splurge for a VIP package now that I have been there.

The best night of my life.

    by felltoearth on 9/17/23

I’ve dreamed about going to a ghost concert for over a year now, and finally, I can say that I have. I saw them at the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville and wow, what a show. Amon Amarth blew the crowd away and I was very impressed. When Imperium began to play, it was as if I knew I was home. The rest of the night was a blast and I screamed my guts out. The view from the lawn gave us a perfect view of the effects you don’t get to see when you’re in the pit, and honestly, I’m glad I went with that option for my first ritual. Next time I see Ghost, I will definitely try to get the vip experience!!!
