TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!! All I'm going to say is the performers that majority came to see besides Scarface and Geto boys did not show!!!! WORST concert EVER!!! I will be attending concerts out of town!!!
To many local artist performance, meet/ greet on stage in the middle of the concert, not all artist I paid to see came
This concert was very disappointing. All the artists that were on the ticket did not show up. The show was unorganized.Too many local acts. There were very long delays between acts. The main group, 8 Ball & MJG, didn't take the stage until midnight. They performed a few songs and said they had to end the show because the facility was closing! There were also too many people, 30 people, on stage during the performances, I suppose it was the entourage. Why weren't they backstage! It was very distracting! The artist should be ashamed of themselves for lackluster show!
Very disappointed. A Lot of customers left early due to artist not showing up or late to their own concert
Juvi & Mystikal did not bother showing up. Paid to see half the advertised artists
This was such a waste of my time (6 hours) and money (too much-that I did not see all of who I paid for). Not only was the ticket prices too high to begin with but not everyone I paid for showed up and those that did, did ok...and that would be Twista & The Ghetto Boys, but everyone else was a waste. The stalling and putting on local talent was ok to a point...they took up most of the time and I did not come to see them and knew none of the songs that they performed. Six hours of my day pretty much wasted a long with my money that I paid for the ticket. You will never have to worry about me coming back to another one of these events. Who ever promoted this show really got over on a lot of people!!!
Sat through a few good opening acts,good to know the talent level for twin cities hip hop is going strong.anyway,this show was held at the fine line music cafe in downtown Minneapolis,which is a great venue with great sound and a cool, friendly staff. It took the Geto Boys a little extra time to hit the stage but when they did they showed why they have been doing what they do for over 30 years and why they are such amazing rap icons! They played all the classics and did them well! They were also engaging and complimentary to the crowd(which surprisingly was a great mix and I was impressed with the young kids that were flowing with the music word for word).this was one if the best rap shows I have ever been to and can't wait to see them again!!! Also I thought it was cool that the staff caught me blazing and rather than kick me out I was warned. It would have broke my heart if I missed that show,and I had no problem not smoking again. Love the fine line staff!!!
They came on stage 1 1/2 hour late but it was totally worth it. The Fine Line Music Café where the event was held was a small yet intimate club. I was able to stand one person away from the stage and able to get an autograph from Big Willie D. They were down to earth, entertaining and kept it 100. Of course, you have the overzealous fans who push and bump you but that was expected. My husband idols Scarface so he enjoyed just being in the same room with him. I really don't do concerts but now a days the cost of the ticket is overpriced, the venue too big and too many people. But the crowd, the venue and the cost of the ticket was all within reason. Thanks Geto Boys!
This was by far the worst concert I have ever been to in my entire life! Much love to the artists who actually showed up as planned. This radio station literally left the crowd waiting for two hours...afraid to admit over half the artists they claimed for months would show was not going to appear.....they scrambled by grabbing local artists...to perform at a Living Legends show......yes...and it gets worse. The "hosts" apparently left the venue as NO ONE even introduced the last group to perform. Seating...there were chairs without seats....when sitting down you are basically rubbing up on the person next to you...as this venue must have the smallest / thinnest seats possible. Out of the 4 artists, only 2 showed....and not one time was this mentioned to the crowd...as everyone started booing as we reached the mark of being there over 6hours.....
Horrible. The artists that were headlined never showed. I left after being there for 6.5 hours. The venue began to run out of food, and the it became a local talent show. It was hot and horrible. Will never attend again.
The show was late, the brought on three rappers I never heard of then twista came on he was nice like his set alot. The boys played about half there catalog of hits. Seemed like they had some where else to be. I would pay to see just Scarface most underrated rapper of all time. I thought he would do some of his solo stuff. Not a chance at this show. I'm a die hard rap-a-lot , scarface / geto boys fan but was disappointed. The set they did had no flow even throw in the more famous beats they have a ton to throw out there. Then 8ball and mjg was coming on after the geto boys which didn't make any sense. I was to pissed off to stick around to the see that I jetted.
it the worst show I ever been to!! no showed up that was on the agenda but scarface the locals was horrible I didn't pay for that....
I want my money back, only 1 group out of the 4 on original line up showed up. Spent $360 for nothing!!!!
I enjoy the artist that was there.But my main reason for going to the show was to see Juvenile and Mystikal of course they were not there...I'm very frustrated !!!
3 hours of local acts, 3 of the headliners didn't show up at all, hour long intermissions, they cut 8Ball and MJG's performance, in the middle of their 2nd song they made them and everyone leave....I DEMAND A REFUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Almost all the performers on the ticket didn't show up. What a waste of money and a disappointment.
Gheto Boys was cool. Thanks for coming. Mystical and Juvenile were not there. I'm guessing Twista and Freeway were the replacements?... Anyway, did not see Eightball and MJG. Took over an hour for them to come out after Gheto Boys. It was after midnight! My friend and I came from Cleveland and it was definately not worth the trip. While I'm typing this, I need to be on the phone with somebody trying to get my money back for the ticket and gas..... Never going to an event by this promoter again!
