With four No. 1 albums in just a few short years, Regional Mexico singer Gerardo Ortiz has ridden a tremendous wave of success to become the contemporary “king of corrido,” the style of narrative ballad popular in Norteño music. Ortiz’s blend of traditional and modern elements and his popularity among young Norteño fans led to a virtual sweep of the 2011 Billboard Mexican Music Awards, earning him six honors including New Artist of the Year and Male Artist of the Year. With the 2012 release of El Primer Ministro, Ortiz once again topped the Latin Albums chart, adding to his collection of hits with accordion-laced ballads about love and loss like “Mañana Voy a Conquistarla” and “Solo Vine a Despedirme.” Ortiz rose to overnight success in 2010 with the release of his major label debut Ni Hoy Ni Mañana, which landed in the Top 5 of the Latin Albums chart and received a Grammy nomination for Best Norteño Album. Ortiz followed up with several chart-topping live albums and his second studio album Entre Dios y el Diablo, which peaked at No. 1 on the Latin Albums chart and included the hit single “Cara A La Muerte.” On tour in 2013, Ortiz has received rave review from ticket buyers for his rousing live concerts, leaving little doubt that a bright future awaits the young singer.

Depemding on what kind of setting they have i wouldnt go back, if its half the stadium like it usually is i would go, if its all open then no its second time this happens last time even the artist notice it and he got super mad
The BEST event I have attended, Gerardo Ortiz gave it all on stage from the moment he stepped onto the stage until his last song, set up was amazing, he interacted with everyone in the venue, he took request from the audience , took cell phones to take selfies from stage with most of the people that were near him. I would pay more to see him again, I didn't know what to expect but in this venue it's the best event I have experienced in years!
Absolutely incredible performance! From start to finish, he had the entire crowd on their feet pure energy, passion, and talent. Every hit song was a vibe, from Dámaso, mujer de piedra, 500 caballos de fuerza just pump up the audience and creating an unforgettable atmosphere. You can’t help but sing along and get lost in the moment. I’ll definitely be seeing him again, hands down one of the best live shows I’ve ever experienced!
I love Gerardo Ortiz however, it was pretty hard to hear him sing. He did great but maybe the sound check needed improvement because the other artists were fine with the sound, just Gerardo in particular which I was bummed.
I loved the show, great presentation. Loved the way he got off the stage to interact with the people. ❤️❤️❤️
We had really good seats, the staff was actually helpful, and overall just had an awsome experience
I had the best experience ever ! Gerardo ortiz!!! Was amazing!!!
The concert was amazing, the music, the crowd was great, good vibe overall. The Hard Rock casino was unfortunately busy, after the event the restaurant closed early, only one bartender at the bar, the line was long it took us 42 minutes to get a drink after one of the staff informed us that there were two floating bars, after searching by the buffet and the event center nothing, and trying to get a waitress to come by my area where I was playing, nothing. The only good thing was young lady dj she was awesome 👌.
Had a good time at the Rosemont Teather looked nice in there and like the seat the view
