Gerald Albright had a brilliant performance! Maya and Andre were also great! Good jazz for the jazzy lovers.
The line up was phenomenal. I have seen Gerald and Maysa multiple times. This is my first time seeing Andre Ward. He was fantastic! This was one of the best concerts ever!

Gerald Albright headlining, Thursday night at the Birchmere was spectacular. His backup was exceptional too. The keyboardist, no words. Gerald's interactions with the audience and his selections of his music, with old school. It was the perfect evening. My family and I are still talking about it. Gerald always shows up and NEVER DISAPPOINT. Love it.

Exceptional performer whose experience is evident in each note and move across the stage. His energy is not too overwhelming...just enough to set the ambience for his amazing sound. Will definitely see him again the summer. Enjoyed every moment. He just had to help the sound engineer initially.
First time at the Aretha- such a beautiful space! And Gerald was amazing! We couldnt help but dance in our seats in reaction to his sexy sax playing- the mans got some lungs!

Wheelchair/ADA seating needs to be marked on tickets and seating area in the auditorium to ensure access. Maybe even provided assistance if needed to locate. Platform was broken that wheelchair rolls onto for seating as well. Just need updating. But the concert was very entertaining...didn't start till an hour later of start time...but it was fun.
Pieces of a dream were really good also. And they featured a 14yr old amazing pianist. It was a good Valentine date!
First live music performance since before pandemic. Enjoyed.
To much additional add on cost per ticket,could not take beverage to seat, everything else was nice
Event was originally billed to start at 3:00 pm. This was changed to 2:00 pm. We stood in the Lobby for 45 min waiting for the concert to start. When the concert finally started, we were presented with two hours of music by some kid on keyboard and later, "Pieces of A Dream". They were "fair", but not Mr. Allbright. We left.
It was great to see young Justin Lee Shultz, a 15 year old prodigy, playing with the greats. Pieces of a Dream and Gerald Albright were as incredible as theyâve always been. I will always recommend them. Unfortunately the event started 40 minutes late ( no fault of the artists) and as this was Super Bowl Sunday, some did not get home until the second quarter of the game. Kudos to these great artists for giving us a FULL CONCERT and not succumbing to the inherent pressure of the super bowl. Loved it
