Georgetown Hoyas at Verizon Center
Don't miss your chance to catch Georgetown Men's Basketball at Verizon Center this season! The Hoyas are led by Coach Patrick Ewing, who returns to Georgetown University after serving for 15 years as an assistant head coach in the NBA. Georgetown is a founding member of the BIG EAST Conference, which since its inception remains one of the best basketball leagues in the nation. In 2017-18, the Hoyas look to continue their long history of success with another great season, hoping to add to their nine conference regular season titles, seven conference tournament titles, 30 NCAA Tournament appearances, 11 NCAA Sweet Sixteens, nine NCAA Elite Eights, five NCAA Final Fours and 1984 NCAA National Championship.
Great game. Great seats. Like the old days for sure
Clean, safe, nice environment. Very expensive tickets for a college basketball game though.
Just being back in the area and enjoying the atmosphere!! HoyaSaxa
Coming from France we landed at 4:30pm and took place at our seats at 6:50pm. All was good ... and Hoyas won the game
Tickets worked well. Only problem was one friend did not have a cell phone to pass ticket to. Problem if had to go to bathroom.
Capital One Arena is a really cool venue for basketball.
Great seats! It meant a lot to give the tickets to my goddaughter’s son and husband for Christmas
Was a bit ugly in the first half, but an undermanned Georgetown team made it a very competitive game and had a chance to tie on the last shot of the game. Pretty exciting. We had very good seats and had a good experience at Capital One Arena overall. I do think the Arena should have better food choices. Particularly for the money we paid, the food was pretty bad.
It was great game. I had amazing seats. I could see the whole court
Wonderful seats, easy access to the arena and our seats, friendly staff everywhere, clean arena, economically priced, and a great family outing event!
Great seating and lines move fast for the concession stand and restrooms
Really enjoyable game - venue was very nice - staff was wonderful
Easy to use. Even for an old man. Would absolutely use this again as digital tickets
All in all a great time. Not a full arena but still enjoyed the experience.
Double OT game. Game came down to the hustle and free throw shooting of Govan shooting free throws , taking fouls, and put backs in the paint. One of the better games I have ever been to!!!
The seats were good and the game was great. It was my 2 sons first Georgetown game and they loved it. Such a great game for their first. They are still talking about the double overtime win.
One of the most exciting games I have ever watched…. The Hoyas never quit ….
Great game. Georgetown showed great resilience and character.
The comraderie of the fans was great, I went with a friend who enjoys basketball. I am not such a fan of the game but it was ok.
Since they rearranged the conferences I have attended the Creighton-Georgetown game in DC every year. The game this year appeared tightly played, fast-paced and competitive with the lead changing several times. This game was no blowout. The only let-up came at the end when Creighton with the lead got the ball inside of the 30 second clock. On a lighter note "Jack" the bulldog mascot (and number one crowd favorite) was in the building decked out in Hoya attire, trading in his skateboard this year for a radio-controlled car drive on the court during a break. Hats off to the players and coaches for a real competitive game.
