Sorry he was ill and only able to sing 1 song before cancelling; however, it was a blessing to us when he came back to KC because he was well rested and gave us one heck of a show! I can't wait for him to come back again next year! Hoping to get front row seats! He is the KING!!

Martina McBride is a class act, she preformed two shows for the price of one, and both were excellent. Kansas should be proud of this Gal, for giving the crowd the two shows. George Strait is another class act, and should be commended for doing what he did and gave the audience a choice, stay home or come and see a great show, five stars for Geo and Martina six or seven for coming back. I got my monies worth, thanks Sprint Center for doing a better job of letting the customers in early, and not standing in the cold.
George gave Kansas City 2 hours of non-stop country heaven. He gets better with time. Long Live King George!!!!
I have seen George over 20 times over the years from state fairs to stadiums to arenas. Had the best seats ever and this concert was one of the best to go along with it. Postponed a week earlier, Martina did a completely different 1hr long set, and George did about 15 or 20min more than he normally does. Sounded great and longtime fiddle player Gene Elders even signed my hat to top off a top 10 concert of all time! Well done King George!
If you ever get the chance to see George Strait in concert, don't miss it! George has a fabulous voice that only gets better with age. His band, Ace in the Hole, has been with him since the beginning -- it is obvious that this band plays well together and truly enjoys making music together! George doesn't disappoint, playing one hit after another. Four encores too! Martina McBride could very well tour as a headliner, so this pairing was truly outstanding. It was an event I won't soon forget.
WOW!!!! What a show! Marina was fabulous and George stuck to his word and gave us all one heck of a show!!! Thanks so much for making this a great experience!!! Can't wait to hear Mr. Strait sing Amarillo by Morning again!

WOW! He gave a great show - although some were not able to attend due to his illness the week before....however, he is human like the rest of us and the show was no let down. Martina was fabulous as well and really catered to the event since everyone had seen her show the week prior....overall, how can anyone miss with George.
WOW!! 1st night Martina was superb!!! Where does that voice come from!! Just as great the second performance! George sounded really great too!! Both bands were perfection!! Really like to hear the Music not a bunch of costume changes and stuff; just really GREAT MUSIC!! Can't beat it!

The concert was scheduled for February 25th. Martina did her show and then George came out and sang 2 songs and told us he was ill!!! :( HOWEVER....George told us to keep our tickets and come back the following weekend for the complete concert all over again!!! Well worth the trip back!!!! Parking at the Sprint Center is not ideal but if you get there 45minutes before your event starts you have plenty of time! :) We will for sure come back for another concert here!!
George Strait and Martina McBride were awesome and so worth the wait. If you are wanting smoke and gimmicks, stay away. But, if you want a wonderful music experience, then this ticket is for you.
Martina's true character came thru when she agreed to do a second show when George Strait had to cancel his first show in KC. Her first show was GREAT and unbelievably, her second show was even better. George was on the top of his game. It's George Strait!! What else is there to say?!?!?!
I must admit that it was a shock when George had to cancel the first performance; but am proud of the way he handled it! Martina performed two great shows for us! George is a classic, you must see him!
We were disappointed that George Strait could not perform as scheduled, but kudos for his attempt and the efficient manner the rescheduling went. Martina McBride gave two outstanding performances. She added new songs to the second show which made it fresh and exciting. What a talent she is. George was is awesome self after taking a week to recover from his illness. He had the crowd from the beginning. No doubt about it, King George reigns!!
The show as awesome. As usual, he gave a top-notch performance. It was so wonderful of him to reschedule after being sick. Not all performers would have done that. His voice is still wonderful and he has a great stage presence. Martina gave another great performance. It was great of her to come back and perform again. It was especially nice of her to change her show so we didn't watch the same thing twice. That was a very classy thing to do. I loved the show and can't wait for him to come back. I know he hinted that his touring time is coming to an end, but I will go see him as long as he is still performing. He is the BEST! No one can top George Strait!
A few big hits that were not sung by George. Would've like to hear some more country classics by both singers.
Even though George had to cancel out the night of the event,he came back the next week and more than made for it. He was absolutely fantastic,and very humbled by the response of the crowd. He is most certainly a class act. But the award for a class act had to go to Martina McBride for coming back with George the next week,even though she had already performed her part,she put on one of the best performance's I have ever saw.Twice. I really came to see Martina,the fact George was there,was just icing on the cake for me.Fantastic show,wouldn't have missed it for anything!!!!!!!!!!!
