    Good Concert

by TreeDoc62 on 9/12/17Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - Murphys

Ironstone amphitheater was an excellent venue, that was awesome. Kenny G is an incredible musician, and he did a great show. George Benson is getting a little aged & I noticed his voice isn't as smooth, but still such sexy music. I thoroughly enjoyed the event.

by LuvStarbucks on 9/12/17Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - Murphys

Both artist gave amazing performances. Kenny G is always on point and George B. took me back to high school and college years. Some of the best music. The venue was assume and would recommend for a summer concert.

Kenny G rocked it; George Benson's still got it!

by ConcertCadet on 6/6/17Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino Event Center - Salamanca

Kenny G's performance was 'breathtaking' and his band played as one tight unit. George Benson was still awe inspiring, bu we wished he'd play more guitar solos. The venue is spacious and VERY comfortable, the staff very helpful, and the sound was great.

I GOT THE SHOW GUITAR PICK FROM GEORGE BENSON

by RAWBASE on 6/6/17Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino Event Center - Salamanca

AFTER OVER 40 YEARS OF BUYING AND PLAYING EVERYTHING GEORGE BENSON HAS MADE, IT WAS A PLEASURE AND AN HONOR TO CATCH HIM IN PERSON. MADE THE 5 HOUR DRIVE AND STAYED AT A SUITE IN CASINO WHICH WAS FANTASTIC. I AM OLD SCHOOL DJ AND SOUND PERSON AND THE ACOUSTICS WERE EXCELLENT. KENNY G WAS VERY GOOD AND HE AND HIS BAND ARE WORLD CLASS MUSICIANS. I WAS GREATLY TOUCHED WHEN GEORGE GAVE ME HIS GUITAR PICK, HE HAS BEEN AND WILL ALWAYS BE ONE OF MY ALLTIME FAVORITES. DJRW

    George still has it all!

by scouse58 on 6/6/17Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino Event Center - Salamanca

Kenny G is very talented but his songs all sound the same to me! 45 minutes would have been enough for him instead of 70. George Benson at 74 took a couple of songs to warm up his voice but then he was just like we saw him in 1983! Brilliant on guitar and smooth voice - he knows what he is capable of and doesn't try to sing like did in 1983 but still great. Sang most tracks from Breezin album. Great solos from fabulous musicians in both bands. Seneca is a nice small venue with all good seats.

    Kenny G ***** - Benson ***

by DAFredonia2 on 6/6/17Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino Event Center - Salamanca

Kenny G was super. What a musician and showman. His playing was effortless. His technique was amazing. Kenny G's band was fantastic, all superb musicians. Kenny G came out twice and signed CDs. George Benson was good, not great. He was a very good musician and performer back in the day. Now he's an older performer that still plays well, but it is evident he is living off of his past accomplishments

Bad Light Design = Unenjoyable Evening

    by CornKing50 on 5/30/17Chicago Theater - Chicago

The music was great. The sound was great. But the light show--with flashing spotlights in our eyes for hours--ultimately overpowered all the other and ultimately made the experience unenjoyable. The entire show seemed designed for a large, flat, one-level venue (outdoors?) vs. an indoor theatre with balconies. Kenny G opened the evening by playing about 15 minutes among the fans on the main floor, while those of us in the balcony saw nothing but an empty stage. Then, the flashing spotlights had us holding our hands in front of our eyes for most of the evening. It finally got so tiresome and annoying that we left before we got to hear what I presumed George Benson would play, "On Broadway."
