  • Louder is not necessarily better

This concert was great! I loved the lighting and staging of it all, and the best part had to have been the Rexburg Children's Choir. I thought it was brilliant of Gentri to sing with talented youth from our own area here in Idaho. The talent of all performers was evident and showcased professionally. My one thing was that it was sooo loud. It was to the point where the music wasn't enjoyable anymore. It was just a ringing noise. I had brought my grandma with me, and I was a bit jealous of her poor hearing! She had hearing aids, and she could adjust the volume level. Maybe I just need to go to more concerts like this, lose my hearing, and then have that control over the volume haha

  • First-class! Extraordinary!

by Long-time GENTRI faithful fan on 5/9/22Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts - BloomingtonRating: 5 out of 5

There was nothing about this experience I would change. Except make it never end! This was a top-notch, first-class, extraordinary, experience. The venue was beautiful, the lighting and AV was amazing. From the first dimming of the lights to the final note of the encore, a breathtaking medley of songs from Les Miserable, the GENTRI concert was a joyful, spiritual experience that I didn't want to end. The song selection was diverse and included a medley of Broadway tunes, love songs, and Queen's hits. The audience was also treated to personal, original compositions, as well as classics, such as Let It Be. GENTRI is masterful at creating videos of their songs to tell a story, and shared one of their original compositions, Home, filmed along the Oregon coast. Collectively, GENTRI, is fabulous and crazy talented. Individually, The Gents are each personable, funny, and crazy talented, including their pianist who also arranges all of their music. In full disclosure, this reviewer is a long-time fan, so admittedly a little biased. But, if I can't brag on them, who can? If you ever have a chance to see GENTRI, do it. You won't regret it!

Gentri gave an amazing performance. I could listen to them all night. I especially loved the pieces that weren't on their cd's. The medleys from the 80's and Broadway for example. My absolute favorite was the encore: The Les Miserables medley. I got chills! I wish they would add that one to one of their cd's. I would listen to it over and over. How about one from The Phantom of the Opera?

  • Gentri=amazing

This group is the best! They sound just as good live as on their CD's. Pure, unbelievable talent. Their music is uplifting and fun and classy and emotional. Their name is exactly what they are - gentlemen. LOVED this show! The venue was very nice, but it was pretty warm in there. I felt bad for the performers. They must have been roasting under the lights in their suits! Also, they had a few microphone issues, and I noticed 2 of them kept messing with their ear pieces.

  • Music stayed with me for days

I first heard this group in November and was an instant fan. They have amazing harmonies and I love the cinematic music in the background. The concert ended far to soon. Could have stayed there for another 2 hours! Can't wait to see them again.

Very very good. Exceptional voices and great harmony. Some of the songs are very tender and had my wife in tears. It was a great concert.

The show looked like it was put on by a high school drama club. Sound was horrible first few songs. The one lead singer wouldn't shut up about his wife and kids the whole time. In light his other partners didn't have the same. Good voices. Bad production. I was going to sponsor a big corporate event with them. Not possible now. I don't forsee them surviving many years as a group. I wish them success

  • A Great Show + Memorable!

by GentlemanAudienceMember on 2/14/17Chandler Center for the Arts - ChandlerRating: 5 out of 5

It was a Valentine's day themed performance! My gosh it was so good. The group themselves performed on Broadway shows before they formed this men's trio. They had three "medley" songs which wove together romantic tunes we all recognize and the rest were original arrangements. Loved it!
