The experience of seeing them both together was unforgettable! Best concert ever :)
They were both great however I have been such a big fan of Gavin's that he stole the show for me. I would see both of them again. I wish I would have been close enough to touch Gavin's hand. The Greek Theatre venue is beautiful and everyone is very friendly!
This was a great concert - two in one, since both Gavin DeGraw and Colbie Calliat are wonderful artists! I enjoyed both performances and became an even bigger fan of both as a result of this concert. I would definitely recommend this event to others.
Gavin's performance was perfect! He was so comfortable with his audience chatted like we were in his living room. Gavin was also very charming and surprisingly funny. Musically, he sounded just like his recordings if not better. Truely an artist in every sense of the word. I would have preferred to see him by himself but I understand economically that might not be possible. I will say that his duets with CC were very good.
Gavin DeGraw and Colbie Caillat give an amazing show.
As a longtime fan of Gavin DeGraw, he never disappoints. This was my 3rd time seeing him and definitely the best. Colbie was really good too, but she is so low key, that it was almost a let-down after Gavin. He should have closed the show.
I saw Colbie Caillat about 2 years ago at the same venue (Mandalay Bay Beach) and I was astounded! Her relaxing music and overall cuteness of stage presence kept me wanting more! Now that she has teamed up with Gavin DeGraw, it made me want to see it all the more! Gavin is a fantastic performer! Although, his music at the beginning of his career didn't really interest me, his songs kept getting better and better! Keep it up you two! Oh and not to mention the venue had a wave pool. I loved soaking in the water while listening to these two!
If all concerts were like that! You rarely see performers interact with the audience anymore, instead, you see them drowned in the combination of pyrotechnics and special effects, although it adds some spectacle, but in many cases, it overshadows the real attraction: the performer or band, and except for a brief moment during introduction or during the finale, you'll be lucky to feel any kind of interaction between the performer and the audience. Here, we got the special treat of being part of a real and intimate event, where the line between performer and audience was definitely blurred, and a bridge has been established from the very beginning of the show, and all the way until the end. It is a true delight to see both Colbie Caillat and Gavin Degraw interact with the audience, making you feel really part of an intimate performance. You leave the concert feeling you really got to know them, weather from a personal or professional side. Instead of jumping from one song to another, they each began each performance with a brief introduction, making you really understand where it came from and what inspired those lyrics. I can only wish more performers would make the audience feel at "home" while taking a step closer into their personal experiences and appreciate the songs and lyrics even more... The last time I saw that was when I saw Melissa Etheridge or Sarah McLachlan. These types of performances are rare these days, and it's a true joy to be able to experience this bonus treat that makes such concerts so much more special an unique... Oh did I mention that they were both phenomenal whether it was Gavin's energy and humor, or Colbie's grace and soothing voice . I had seen them performing in San DIego a few days before, because I bought the ticket 3 days before they announced the Vegas dare (I guess they are alternating opening duies, which makes sense), and I had to say, we got a special treat in Vegas when Colbie made a surprise appearance in a hot pink dress and sang along on Gavin's final song....
Great venue! but would have liked to have seen a bit more of Gavin. Colbie was good, but was looking forward to more intimate performances from her.
Both Colbie and Gavin were amazing. Even the opening act, Justin Young was fabulous. Colbie has a lovely voice, and Gavin complemented his voice with his superior showmanship! We drove 5 hours each way to see this concert and I would have driven twice that far to see them. Excellent show!
Now, I did miss the opening band, but got there in time to see Gavin DeGraw and Colbie Caillat. Gavin's set was great! Some old music and some new. It was great to hear their new duet. It'll be a hit, I'm sure. She also came out and performed one of his songs with him which was cool. He was funny and charming as he often is at his shows. He doesn't disappoint. I've seen him since 2006 and he is always putting on a great show. He is also about the most humble performers ever! As you have figured out, GDG was the draw for me to this show. I like Colbie Caillat, but never really paid a lot of attention. She was sweet and charming as well. Her set was totally different. Mellow and laid back, whereas Gavin's was upbeat and energetic. Both are good, but her mellow vibe didn't get as many up and dancing. GDG came out and performed with her and that was nice as well. My opinion was that she should've performed first, not that she's less popular, because I think she's certainly more well-known, but because the mellow vibe would've been better before rather than the ending. Greek is a fantastic venue! It's hard to pass up a show there. So, fun night with friends and good music! What more can you ask for?
This is an amazing show, please don't miss any of these performers when they are back in town; they are amazing singers and their voices are perhaps even better live. We had a great time a loved every minute of their performaces; they have great chemistry and I hope they tour again in the near future because they are the perfect combination of energy and soul along with some great humor mixed in between songs.
A very relaxing and enjoyable evening. Saw many families at this event
We drove up from LA to Santa Barbara for the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised with the 80 degree weather instead of the 100 degrees at home. I initially bought these tickets to see Colbie Caillat but Gavin Degraw's performance is amazing. He has one of the most unique and sexiest voices around! I think I'm in love (just don't tell my boyfriend)! Then when Colbie performed, it was just beautiful. She has the sweetest voice and can this girl sing! You will not be disappointed going to their show!
I had such a great time. Gavin and Colbie rock!!!!!
Great performances both by Gavin and Colbie. Great that they performed duets on both acts, wish that Gavin sung more songs... :P
I was a great show... they both sounded amazing and the weather was perfect.
Great venue, perfect weather. Kinda disappointed we couln't take in drinks (even sealed).
1st off, we met the artists. At different times but they were all amazing and friendly. Even bigger fan than I was before. Justin Young opened and sounded great. Followed by Gavin DeGraw. He and his show were so good. Lights, etc. he is a great performer. Colbie Caillat sounded amazing, just like she always does. Still, enjoyed it like the first time. The whole show, the artists, the band, I am excited to see everyone again. In their own shows or back together. I encourage everyone to go, you will have a great time, and you will not be disappointed.
First time to see both in concert. Gavin has such a charming personaltiy. Colbie is beautiful, sexy talented but needs a personality coaching session. Pretty flat personality on stage.
