Perfect setting, people, food, weather and a joy to be able to get there once again for this yearly event. Gary and his crew rocked the house!

I will definitely go see Gary again! He did a benefit concert for my church at Tupelo in Londonderry but unfortunately I had to miss that. Glad I finally got to see him.

Finally got to see Gary live after years of hearing him perform inside the WRIF studios. Let me just say I was definitely pleased with the the performance. There was a nice balance of Gary's unique brand of Christmas rock and other original songs that totally kicked ass! You don't have to know any of his music to enjoy every second of it and appreciate him for the talented guitarist that he is. Between songs he entertained the audience with his brief story telling and humor. The rest of the band also held up their end with some demonstrative solo endeavors. I took my 22 year old nephew who is a young budding guitarist and glanced over on occasion only to find him completely engrossed in the experience. Everyone in our group had an outstanding time. My only advice: Take it easy on the drinks, because there really isn't a good " bathroom break" song.

I heard it was a great show. It was even better than I expected.

Gary was amazing as usual and invited the great Jim McCarty to join him for the most electric blues jam I've seen in years! AWESOME show and an AWESOME person. I'd go again a 1000 times!

I have seen Gary 4 or 5 times and he never disappoints. His musicianship and enthusiasm are abundant and he is one of the nicer guys in the business. He'll sign anything you want after the show, he signed a guitar for me in Lansing MI. The songs are fun, the crowd is mature and polite, you can take your kids.. And Gary knows how to rock! I will go to see him again. This year's Christms show was sufficiently different from last year's that I won't hesitate to go next year.

Fantastic show-the guitar work was just amazing. High energy show with amazing guitar and drum solos. Loved the Christmas tunes.

A-MAZ-ING!! It was truly the event of the year. Nevermind that downtown was jammed with entertainment. Kenny Rogers at the Fox, Red Wings at the Joe, Too Hot to Handel at the opera house, Fillmore was rocking. The best show in town

This show rocked . Gary Hoey is one of the most talented and versatile guitar players out there. Right from the start, the famous detriot legend jim mccarty and the mystery train got things going with there rocking blues. Then Gary Hoey came out and brought the sold out crowd to standing ovations more than once. Playing his classic Christmas hits with some songs from his latest blues album "deja blues" mixed in.. the show was stellar. Furthermore. Just to prove he's not only a guitar genius but also a super nice guy he does a meet an greet after the show signing autographs as often as fans want and taking as many photos as requested.

Gary Hoey is always a great show. He is an amazing musician! Always makes you feel like your sitting in his living room. He is such a genuine guy. City theater is a wonderful place for him to perform. Very intimate.

Wow, what can I say, this show was probably the 12th time or so that I have seen Gary perform. He is an amazing guitarist, he has a great band, you almost wonder how 3 guys can make such great sound but they do it every single time. Gary is the most down to earth, friendly, humble and grateful musician I have ever met. He is not on an ego trip, he lets his mastery of the guitar speak for him. The venues Gary and the band play are usually quite intimate. Recently they have allowed a number of fans in for the sound check and a "meet and greet" before the actual show, this costs a bit extra on the ticket but it is well worth the money and the time, you get to actually sit and talk to Gary and the band, they sign CD's which are included in the cost of the ticket and will personalize them for you. The show itself is beyond amazing. Gary has so much talent, he is so comfortable on stage playing. It is apparent in all of his work. He is flawless, the band is just plain excellent, there is nothing bad to say about any of his shows other than, they end! Treat yourself and your family to a great time, there is no foul language, no drinking on stage either before or during the show, Gary and the band are just an amazing group with a lot of talent that more people need to see.

Long time fan of Gary Hoey and first time getting to see the show. This is a new priority of mine.... to see Gary Hoey perform every time he is in town or nearby!!!! LOVED THE SHOW and the venue!!!!

This is my third year at this concert and every year gets better. He always has a good warm up band which is appreciated as well. Gary and his team play a great show. There was a nice mix of Christmas rock with his other hits. This year we took six family members and will most likely expand them next year. Keep up the great music Gary.
