"I ain't really happy," sings Gary Allan on "Get Off on the Pain," the down-home masterstroke that begins and provides the name for his new MCA Nashville collection, "until the sky starts driving rain." Unhesitatingly frank, mercilessly guitar-crazed, it's the rocked-out country confession of a smart guy drawn to what the rest of the world calls wrong roads and long shots, or complains of as aching bones and stubbornness, or — as Allan sings in a spectacular stretch of drawn-out soulful vowels — underestimates as dark horses. And as the California-born superstar releases his eighth studio album, it's about the most Gary Allan piece anyone could imagine.

Gary Allen was amazing, like always!! We enjoyed every minute of his concert!
I loved the venue and the ease it was to get through the lines! Gary also sounded great on the sound system! The lighting on the back of the stage was a bit rough when on the floor and center stage at times, but I am also shorter than most people so not sure if taller people had the same experience! It was like a spotlight being put on you directly! However, over all it was great! I enjoyed it, but then it is also Gary...so who wouldn't enjoy his concert? LOL ;-)
Opening group was to long. Couldn't wait for opening group to get off the stage. Gary Allen was great. An hour opening group was way to long! Honest review. People around me had the same comments in intermission for Gary to start to play
Gary was amazing as ever.! The venue was nice also
I did not pay to see Mark McKay sing from 8-9:35! The information for the concert stated Gary Allan from 8-9:30. He did come out and sing but he appeared to maybe be sick, spraying his throat and drinking liquids. We stayed for 15 minutes and left.
Gary Allan always delivers an amazing show! I have seen him many times and will continue to go to his shows. The Cosmopolitan was not my favorite venue for his concert.
It was a great venue, people were very nice and alot of fun. Gary always puts on a great show. He always is very sincere in thanking and showing appreciation for his fans. Tonight he made a point to thank and saying numerous times how much he appreciated that out of all the choices for entertainment that we chose to spend it with him.
Gary Allan's performance was awesome as usual. I have seen him in concert several times and he just keeps getting better.
Great venue for a play but the concert was awful. We couldn't understand the words. We had sounds bouncing everywhere. We even had 2nd balcony 2nd row seats. So not awful. Would not recommend. I'll never come back for a concert
I ordered a front row seat to see Gary Allan. When I arrived at the Adler Theater I discovered they added 4 rows in front of me after I paid extra to be in the front row. This was the second time in a week this was done to me. I will never attend another event at this venue again!
Gary and his band ricked the theater. Because the venue was not large it was a bit loud. But theyvdid an amazing job. Highly recommend this show.
I go to tons of concerts. Now days the prices seem to be getting out of hand. Not for Gary Allan. If you want a great show, reasonable price show so you can take the family. This is the guy to go see. He is what country is. Guys like him is why I find my self buying more tickets to the country artist of the 90’s more bang for your buck! The venue was great not a bad seat at the Adler! I highly recommend see Gary Allen in person if you get the chance!
he was really good and the band rocked totally all night long! It was just a little too much on the speaker system and couldn't make out a lot of his words. Love love love our Adler concerts
FABULOUS SHOW! GREAT SEATS! GREAT VENUE! WOULD DEFINITELY SEE HIM AGAIN!
Seats were great. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Gary Allan amazing as usual!!!!
The length of time he had and managed to get through over 20 songs was epic. So glad he was worth the wait and ended my tough all over day with a beautiful ride! Still sounds 100% on
It was a terrible experience, the music was so loud it was painful to our ears. We left after the third song. We like his music, but that concert was not musical.
Excellent concert! He sounds just like he does on his albums/radio and you can tell he truly enjoys performing. Will see him again!
The lights were poorly aimed and blinding the audience. the instruments seemed to overwhelm the vocals. Gary was really trying to put on a great show and had some equipment issues. he had all the expected hits and some newer. the Adler as a venue had plenty of help at the bar and snack stands, the bathrooms were clean but never enough stalls for the women as seen with the number of them filling the men's room.
I love Gary Allen and have seen him in concert before. I was underimpressed with the sound and lights. Strobe lights unneccesarily flashing during every song. I had a headache in less than an hour. The instrumentals were overriding the vocals. Left early.
