"I ain't really happy," sings Gary Allan on "Get Off on the Pain," the down-home masterstroke that begins and provides the name for his new MCA Nashville collection, "until the sky starts driving rain." Unhesitatingly frank, mercilessly guitar-crazed, it's the rocked-out country confession of a smart guy drawn to what the rest of the world calls wrong roads and long shots, or complains of as aching bones and stubbornness, or — as Allan sings in a spectacular stretch of drawn-out soulful vowels — underestimates as dark horses. And as the California-born superstar releases his eighth studio album, it's about the most Gary Allan piece anyone could imagine.

Really enjoyed the Gary Allen concert in Brown County Indiana! He gave a great concert, all my favorite songs!
The Gary Allan was fantastic as always. I loved the small venue and the venue staff were very nice
Gary put on a good show and played all the hits. My only complaint would be the two girls behind me who talked during the whole show and all the people on their phones live streaming instead of just enjoying the show, but I guess these are the times we live in now.
Great venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Gary was so good. One of our favorites.
Gary and his band put on a high energy show. This is not one you want to sit down for, we dance and sing! He truly values his fans and enjoys his job.
Incredible performance by Gary Allen and great facilities at Brown County Music Center
As usual, Gary's music was great. He seemed a bit more animated this time, as in he interacted with the crowd more than normal. This was our third time seeing Gary and we always look forward to it, so we were a bit disappointed that he only played for an hour and a half when he normally gives you two full hours of great music.
Gary Allen is the best! My husband and I have seen him 7 times! We started seeing him when he went to 8 second saloon back in the 2000s! We saw him when he was just getting started little venues where our table was next to the stage, loved those times! He is my favorite and he mad our 30 th anniversary so memorable
Brown County Music Center is a wonderful venue and Gary Allan puts on an amazing show!! He’s just as good live, which is very important when paying the cost of tickets today!
What a great show and an awesome venue! The sound was superb and the crowd was too.
We have seen Gary Allan many many times but this was one of his best shows! Great set list and just played song after song. I was hoarse the next day! And my brother finally caught his guitar pic. Cant’t wait til the next show
Gary played for over an hour and a half. Lots of great songs that brought back some good memories
The show was amazing. But every time I have saw a Gary Allan show I have never left disappointed. First time at Packard Music Hall. A small venue but nice for a show. Not really a bad seat in the place.
I've seen Gary Allan in concert 3 times. He's always good but this was definitely the best. He played mostly his older stuff, which I really enjoyed. He engaged with the audience and came back for an encore.
This was the third time I've seen Gary Allen. He was still amazing. He sounds just like radio. The venue was a little dated and the chairs were too close together. The lights were a little but blinding but Gary Allen was worth it!
We were fortunate enough to see him 3 nights in a row, the songs are the same but the show is always different. Gary never disappoints. I have enjoyed the ride since the beginning, it's been great .
Everything could hope for. Wished sang watching airplanes.
Loved everything from the venue to the show! I would go back again and again.
Have seen Gary many times over 20 years and still puts on a great show, wonderful night out
The music was wonderful. Parking was terrible. Up and down through the grass with no lights!
