Sadly their last tour in the US but is great to see them performing.
Amazing show perfect date 30 years exactly from taking the stage the first time in 1995!!
Loved seeing Garbage at their last tour date in Los Angeles
Greatest event in my life. Took 30 years to see inperson, but worth it. 👌
I paid for the VIP experience and it was not worth it. Never done VIP but I really thought we would have a chance to a meet and greet. Instead we are surrounded by groupies and fanatics with sob stories. We are not people who idolize artists but instead appreciate their art. I thought we would be able to ask an actual question and get a picture with them. Instead we got a picture with a bunch of pick me's. Garbage is great and all, but at general price. Don't do VIP experience unless you are a person I just described.
I love the boldness of their shows and their standing up for the rights of others. Excellent musicianship and showpersonship. Garbage, my kind of people!
Ok so this is no reflection on the band or my love for them. However, the Q&A was a little unorganized and I think instead of raising hands in hopes we’d get selected we should have lined up behind the microphone and that way the few people who had a question could have each had a turn. Sound check with two songs was awesome even got to hear one that they did not play live later so that made it feel special. Now onto the photo. That was a mess in my opinion. Look I understand there’s not enough time to take photos with individual people so they did it in groups of 10. Ok, fine. BUT the barricade like 5 feet in front of the stage and the band being up on the stage so far back made the photo look not so great. I think removing the barricade and posing the band closer together would have made the photo look 10 times better. I also think had the VIP started an hour or so earlier and the photo was done first the band could have absolutely taken photos with each individual person or group and it would have felt more tailored and special for the price we paid. Also want to note 3 photos of each group of 10 was taken but only one photo was posted so where are the others? Wish they would have posted all pics. The swag bag was cool but I also think that could have been a little better. Throw some pins, stickers a tshirt in there idk. The concert itself was amazing hands down no regrets and considering the meet and greet price compared to other artists I guess you get what you pay for. Would definitely see them again 100% but I would not do VIP unless it’s guaranteed I actually get to meet and interact with the band AND get my individual photo.
Look, I know it's hard when one of your favorite bands who has been around almost as long as you have been alive has decided to scale back on performing. However, Garbage made sure to take care of their fans with one of the most emotionally powerful shows ever. The fact that I'm writing this via Ticketmaster is beyond ironic and almost cruel, as they are one of the many reasons why bands like Garbage have to make these difficult decisions. We have become a society obsessed with perfection, glitz, glamor, choreography, outfits that mimic the main attraction, and lots and lots of plastic. You're not allowed to be old, to be raw, to speak out against corporate machines and genocide. It doesn't fit the perfect little bow of the billionaires borne from mega concerts, complete with staggering ticket prices and a push to sell merch that will outlive us all. With that said, Garbage will always remain a big part of the magic of music, how things used to be before the rise of pop stars and singing competitions. Fronted by the charismatic Scotswoman, Shirley Manson, this band from the 90s made sure to give a safe space for the queerest of the queer and the strangest of the strange. They never shied away from trying out different music techniques nor addressing "taboo"topics. I will be forever grateful that I have been able to see them a few times in my life (though I wish it had been more). The Palladium was a great venue for the show, with nary an empty spot--it truly was a sold out show. Massive shoutout to the security team for making sure things went smoothly and for keeping fans hydrated with water. Anyway, if you ever see Garbage performing in your town, do yourself a huge favour and make sure you make it a point to see them. And if you have the means to travel, then make sure you see them, too.
Awesome show from great sound and great energy from the band. She’s excellent. Can’t wait to see her again
Garbage, for their final salvo, was great! Shirley could’ve used a little more venomous energy, but overall was fantastic.
