The venue was great. It was like a mini Hollywood bowl type and the whole event was like mini coachella-esque. I bought the tickets for a good view and great sound quality and that is where I went wrong. The view was great , but the sound in section 102 was too loud and the organisers won't reduce the bass as people in the back needed to hear the sound too.The Mallik brothers were great on the first day, so was Usha Uthup. Benny Dayal was OK and I think that there must have been some problems with his earphones as the background music and his voice were discordant at times. Gippy was Ok.kanika Kapoor was good.. mika Singh for me was more of a showman that a good live singer as he would skip the hard parts and let the chorus sing or the public join in. The best part was the 2nd day, the loud bass was a little less loud ( still 90 %). Didn't hear Indian Raaga, but my sister who was there told me that was good. Ayushmann Khuraana and the Kakkar sisters were great. Arko was baad. Penn Masala was not so good ( I had recently heard Texas A and M asian A Capella group and they are brilliant ). Arijit Singh was brilliant and I have no words to express his command over the notes and approach. I am from Los angeles and flew just to see his performance and I can say that I was aptly rewarded. I have heard Sonu Nigam before and he is great, but Arijit singh live , in my opinion ,is the best Indian music live show. I did not think that the show was % stars for the above reasons, but since this is the first of it's kind, I am sure the organisers can iron out the kinks better next year. I will surely come back again next year (Los Angeles or anywhere else ), but get a seat in the 202 section or so. Hope the review helps
