The Best Little Venue in the Biggest Little City

by geeeemo on 1/16/18Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

I have seen 3 concerts in the last year. Every single one of them has been awesome. Only one of them was I a big time Fan. (Dream Theater), but with the other 2 concerts, I walked away having had just as much fun. I have been to both set-ups. two with GA standing in the Pit ( we had elbows on the stage) and one when they have put seating in the Pit. The seats were super comfortable and spacious. (They were the same style as the rest of the Venue, not folding chairs as some use). The 3 of us are tall who went and sat, with the tallest 6'5" and room for all. Even cocktail service in the Orchestra level seats. The sound - perfect. If you go to a rock concert, loud is a must. The sound was loud and clean, no distortion. This is a Fantastic place to see a concert!

    G3 Blew me Away!!

by FormerM5Fan on 1/16/18Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

I bought tix for this show as a Christmas present for my guitar loving husband. I went as his date, but not really expecting a great time. I could not have been more wrong - these guys and their masterful guitar playing BLEW ME AWAY!! What incredible talent - all of the musicians, and such ENERGY - WOW!! Go to the show, marvel at how fast fingers can fly on a guitar, and just enjoy! My husband was equally as thrilled and said he hadn’t seen playing like that in 20 years! G3 fans we now are!!

    Nice show but

    by FUMOFO17 on 1/15/18Moore Theatre - Seattle

Don’t get me wrong the show was great but left 2 songs into Satriani’s set because of a really drunk couple sitting next to me. Plus the guy passed out halfway through the second group and he was very large in size and took up half of my chair. I just couldn’t take it anymore, which really bummed me out, oh and the guy really needed a shower.

    Guitar eruption at the Moore

by Deerjon on 1/15/18Moore Theatre - Seattle

Phil Collen set the bar very high with his opening set of guitar wizardry, then John Petrucci stepped it up to another level of amazing mastery! But when Joe Satriani did his set playing a song from most of his Records and his new Album, it was obvious he was the Master of the Guitar Wizards

    G3-a total diappointment

by mtvmtv on 1/14/18Moore Theatre - Seattle

This was a total disappointment. The sound was awful the whole night. It got a bit better, but was still painfully loud and poor quality. The acts were poorly rehearsed, and there was almost no showmanship or charisma among the performers. The tickets weren't cheap, and I felt badly for people who spent a considerable amount of money for the good seats. The artists relied way too much on the fact that they are good guitarists without practicing together or making sure the sound was right for an audience. Joe Satriani looked like a tool in his glasses all night. They all apologized for the poor set up and lack of rehearsal and gave the excuse that it was the first performance of the tour, but if this was a practice run I shouldn't have had to pay for it. There was a line around the block to get inside the rundown venue. The seats were tight and uncomfortable, and the audience members were distracting by taking flash photos and long videos.
