About

From Ashes to New In Concert

When Matt Brandyberry was growing up, he had designs on being a rapper, but he also played in a rock band. Years later, when the vocalist began writing music and seized the opportunity to start his own group, he decided to combine both of these talents. The resulting band, From Ashes to New, has quickly become one of hard rock's leading lights, largely due to their savvy combination of influences.Ā

The band's two albums ā€” 2016's 'Day One' and 2018's 'The Future' ā€” boast Linkin Park-esque nu-metal with hip-hop-influenced vocals and dizzying electronic textures, as well as moments hewing toward more straightforward rock 'n' roll with blazing guitars and urgent tempos. The results are contemporary-sounding and fresh, which no doubt explains why the band has enjoyed chart success. The 2015 single "Through It All" peaked at No. 6 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, while "Crazy" landed at No. 3 on the same chart in July 2018.

Brandyberry founded From Ashes to New in 2013 with other musicians from the Lancaster, Pennsylvania, music scene. Although the band's lineup has shifted over the years, the quartet today has settled into a confident groove, thanks in no small part to the singer's main vocal foil, Danny Case, who alternates between melodic singing and guttural growls.

Live, From Ashes to New's double-vocalist approach takes center stage. In fact, the two men stand up front, bark out their vocals with confidence, and serve as anchors for the hard-charging instrumentalists.Ā

In 2018, the band teamed up with Bad Wolves for the What's In Your Head tour, and was also one of the openers on the Breaking Benjamin and Five Finger Death Punch co-headlining arena tour. From Ashes to New more than held their own, which puts the band in a great position to expand their fan base and continue to grow.

    Amazing Performance

    by Grimm_Revolver on 4/19/22Reverb - Reading

This was hands down the best show Iā€™ve ever been too. The bands that played really brought it and the crowd was wild. Bands did a great job keeping every safe while the mosh pit and crowd surfing was off the chain. I would see FATN again for sure.

    Phenomenal

    by tlynn4788 on 4/19/22Reverb - Reading

This band is beyond amazing. I saw them for the first time September 2021 and was instantly hooked. As soon as I saw this tour was happening I was making sure I saw them no matter what. You will NOT be disappointed at one of their shows. I was already looking forward to the next show before this show even started. I also recommend the venue! I would love to go back to Reverb.

From Ashes To New - An intimate and heartfelt experience

by Billy THE KID Lawrence on 7/20/19Deluxe at Old National Centre - Indianapolis

This was one of the best concerts I've ever been to with a very relaxed and awesome venue that wasn't blazing hot or miserable. Easy access to merch, bathroom, and refreshments with nice lounging areas outside of the main room. The bands were all great, but From Ashes To New really continues to prove how amazing they are. This is my second time seeing them this year. The first being in Cleveland during Falling In Reverse's "Episode III Tour." These guys really care about their fans' support, and it shows. We had such a blast singing along with them to (almost) every lyric. We got into it big time, and my friend Kyle got Lance's guitar pick at the end. So damn awesome. Am I going crazy, or are not enough people listening to these guys? Don't sleep on this band, or this venue. I've never been to that particular room before. My favorite is The Egyptian Room, but this was such a nice and intimate experience. So many heartfelt feels from this band as they put on display how genuine and badass they are. I will definitely be seeing them again and hopefully return to this venue as well. <3
