Nucluear Cowboyz - watch X games instead

by jaxxed on 1/31/10Reliant Stadium - Houston

It was like they did not know what to do with themselves because they gave themselves too much time to fill. The motorcycle tricks were good but it was lacking and was not worth the money. The dancers were an odd addition to this event. My 8 and 10 year boys were like dad - why are the women at a motorcross demo? Don't waste your money and watch the highlights on Youtube.

AWESOME SHOW! My wife doesn't even normally get into stuff like this and she was awe struck, excited, speechless. Price for refreshments and parking too expensive, but to be expected. Also, parking lot was impossible to exit after show. But show receives a 10 out of 10 from me. I hope they change it up and come back to town soon!

    Nuclear Cowboys

    by Pawpaw51 on 1/31/10Reliant Stadium - Houston

I thought the whole show was extremely exciting and would go to see it again. My 4 1/2 year old Grandaughter wayched the entire shoe and enjoyed it . The riders were very good at what they did and the dancers made the event blend smoothly. It was choreographed very well. If theu come back again, I would definatley go see them again.

Lighting, sound and showmanship, were all excellent. The crew of riders were really good and almost magical in their abilities. Then again I'm a street rider

    Riders are great

by brobor on 1/31/10Reliant Stadium - Houston

Story line and girls dancing was kinda lame but the tricks that were performed were great. I commend the riders and the effort they take to push the limits in their profession.

    Not cool...

by msldpo on 1/31/10Reliant Stadium - Houston

The freestyle MX is awesome but the ridiculous theatrical commotion, music, lights and bad acting unfortunately takes away from the awesome riders. It would have been cool to just watch these guys ride and do their thing but all the other stuff pretty much ruined it... kind of like WWF meets Monster Trucks with a little MX. Even our 9 and 4 year olds wanted to leave early. Not hating, we love this stuff! This was just really disappointing.

    lighting and merchandise

by davmon on 1/31/10Reliant Stadium - Houston

Thank you for asking me to share my comments. The show was spectacular and my seat was great though while attempting to take photos of the amazing tricks the lighting shined directly behind the driver making the effect wash out. Maybe, the lighting was designed for that effect t or maybe not I do not know. What I do know is that my son and I had a great time and were amazed at the skills that drivers have. Also, I am not sure you have an effect on this aspect but the merchandise sales are a little too pricey for my taste (really a baseball hat for $30.00, which was the same price for the shirts) I have been to hundreds of concerts and use to paying $30 for a shirt and $15 for a hat. For example, I went to see Eric Clapton and they wanted $15 for a hat. Anyway, I digress. I would suggest that the merchandize pricing be re-evaluated.

    Flyin' High

by Danimc on 1/31/10Reliant Stadium - Houston

For our first motorcross show the Nuclear Cowboys wowed us and kept us under their spell. Although the start was a bit slow, and for the first couple of minutes I was afraid the show would consist of one solo rider doing basic BMX tricks, shadowed by mostly would be dancers who looked as if they were recruited from Legends or Heartbreakers. When the show finally kicked off it was everything it promised. Bikes flying high, doing backflips, and using the gyroscopic forces to control the bikes through the air was utterly amazing. The riders do not need the Nuclear Cowgirls, as there were only 2 or 3 really good dancers. The rest looked like lost cheerleaders or aerobic instructors and distracted from the main event. The stilts effects are entirely ridiculous and not needed. Keep it simple! Just give us the bikes!

    Awesome time!

by MrVe on 1/31/10Reliant Stadium - Houston

As a father of two boys, a motocross event was a must at some point in time and this was a great show! A little repetitive though. They should have had a race or a specialty jump or something to break up that repetitiveness. The show ran smoothly but it was missing the variety todays kids need to stay interested - even if it's watching a guy do a handstand backflip on a motocross bike. That aside, super cool motocross tricks like you have never seen!! Take your kids and go see this show it's worth it just for the sheer amazement!

    Mad Max meets motocross!

by Pinzgauer on 1/31/10Reliant Stadium - Houston

Sort of a post-apocalyptic world meets Circe de Solie (sp?). What's left of the world is battled over by rival moto "gangs". Very cool and dramatic stunts, thrills and chills. Nice to see some trials riding as well. Great spectacle. I was wondering where the NFL cheerleaders went in the off season too. Now i know.

    Too much Dancing

by JARCAR on 1/31/10Reliant Stadium - Houston

More riding - less dancing. I came to watch motorcycle jumping not pole dancing! The riders were great - would suggest some more motorcyle competitions to make it more of a realistic war type environment. Tests of skill rather women on stilts!
