The sporting capital of the world, Melbourne, will play host to the Final of the 2016 Freestyle World Tour on Saturday December 3 at the iconic Etihad Stadium in the Docklands. 

You may well have seen Freestyle Football, which is the art of performing amazing tricks with a soccer ball, online, as the videos posted by the top freestylers regularly get millions of views, but now you have the chance to see it Live in Australia. 

The best 16 Freestyle Footballers in the world will be heading Down Under and Etihad Stadium’s Gate 5, with its’ spectacular Melbourne CBD skyline backdrop, will be transformed into a 1,000 seat Freestyle Arena that will see fifteen dramatic, three minute head to head battles take place to determine the 2016 World Tour Champion. 

Some of the names to watch out for include the Great Freestyler of All Time the Fast & Powerful, 4 Time World Champion Andrew Henderson from the UK, who has over 150 thousand fans on Instagram and will be aiming to dethrone current World Tour Champion, the Acrobatic & Spectacular, Charly from Argentina. Poland already has three freestylers in the Top 8 headed by the Stylish Flow of 2013 Tour Champion Michryc, whilst Szymo & Mikolaj are both regularly top 3 finishers at major competitions in Europe. You can’t discount the acrobatic & spectacular Boyka from Colombia, who won the last World Tour event at the O2 Arena in London or creative character’s such as PWG from the Philippines and Gautier from France. The final eight competitors will be known after Round 1 of the tour opener in Calgary, Canada on September 23.

This is the 1st time a Freestyle event will be ticketed in Australia and you can join the Football Revolution Going Off Around the World. The Freestyle World Tour Final is the culmination also of Melbourne Freestyle Week which will be the largest promotion for the sport of Freestyle Football in Australia ever with 20 freestyle related activities during the week starting on Sunday November 27 with the Freestyle Festival in Dandenong.
