It was my first time at the youTube theatre and it was a great experience !
The sound was horrible, two groups nobody even knew. Lisa Lisa changed up all her songs with some lame hipster beats. Taylor Dane killed the crowd to silent as if it were a funeral. The DJ was lame, and annoying. Every artist was begging to be on social media. It was horrible.
it was a memorylane event took me back back when I was a kid plus the ticket price was just perfect. Cant wait till next year
I've been to many Freestyle concert. By far this was the best. The sound at the YouTube Theater was amazing (if you love bass). You need to understand that the artists are in their 50s and 60s so they will not sound the same, but they perform to their full potential and the bring back lots of memories. First time seeing TKA and Freestyle and they did not disappoint. Cover Girls, Trinere, Debbie Debb, Taylor Dayne were awesome. Lisa Lisa and Stevie B are always the main performers and they did not disappoint. Thank you for taking us down memory lane.
Loved everyone that performed. The venue itself is lovely, good view no matter where you're seating. Whomever was in charge of the mics, should be talked to. So many artists kept complaining about it & took a few songs in to finally get changed.
It was a great show had a good time, I will go to the next one.
I was really excited to see the concert. The bass was so loud that it was really hard to hear the lyrics. We had to leave before the concert ended because there were fights & no security was around to stop them. One fight was in the row in front of us. We felt our life was in danger so we left. Highly disappointed.
We got floor seating. Asked an usher to seat us to our assigned seats. He took us to someone else’s seats. We had never been there. So we were not familiar. Then we had to walk all the way back up to get a drink or use a restroom. So not cool. For a 250$ each ticket we should have more benefits.
The sounds were all off. I felt so bad for a few artists but particularly Taylor D. Idk if they didn’t have a chance to do a sounds check or not but the sounds and microphones were off.
The volume was too loud, the back play was never on point, and the host which was ant dog and Dj chase Martinez were starting more fights then they maid people laugh. They had no skills for a concert of that magnitude!
The sound halfway through the show when Taylor Dayne started and everyone after sounded horrible!!!! We left early because our ears couldn't handle it!
The sound was horrible waisted money left early the sound check should have been performed prior too taking peoples money
Great concert. So many throwback memories te lived. Thank you guest services for making accessible accommodations
The seating in the theatre suck for one their is only one way in and out and u have people stepping in front of you either blocking the way or just walking all over u to get out. They need to make a better change on the seating arrangements. Was unable to enjoy the concert the whole night for the fact that we had to constantly let people pass very annoying. Not sure if i will be returning there for any future concerts. The experience was awful to my taste.
My son n I enjoyed the Freestyle Explosion concert, two things I didn’t like was one, the $50 dollar parking charge, thought that was outrageous, they over charged in my opinion. Second the sound system in the arena was a bit too loud could hear the the musicians voice a lot of the time.
The people that handle the sound system did a disservice to the performers and the audience. I was very difficult to hear the vocals because the music was so loud that all you hear is a buzzing sound
The sound was bad when Taylor Dayne was singing , I couldn’t even understand her lyrics. It sounded really awful .
I was so excited for this concert of some of my favorite 90s artists. The sound in the venue was terrible. It was just LOUD, and you couldn’t decipher what people were saying or what they were singing. The one group that actually sounded good was The Jets. We left two hours in and hadn’t even gotten to the people we were most excited about. The Acrisure Arena is also not built to be a concert venue. (Perhaps the reason for the aforementioned sound issues.) The movement of people through the venue is terrible…it was just one continuous mass of humans. Workers had no idea where seats were located and sent people to the wrong areas. It was a giant cluster. Parking at the venue is also way too high for the area. This is not downtown LA.
The venue needed more security and bag checks no one checked our purses or we didn’t go through metal detectors. Lots of fights inside. And it took a long time for police to show up. The entertainment itself was good but the sound was off after the 4th singer
Great lineup. Went well until they switched it up for Taylor Dayne. They blew the set for her with the audio
