Freestyle Beach House Coney Island Tickets

I’ve gone to this concert every year. The performances and show were amazing as always but there were some changes this year I wasn’t so happy with. And I know a lot of people share the same opinion. First of all we didn’t $140 per ticket and went with a big group. We spend this because we get great seats right in the front close to bar and bathrooms. But this year they took out all the seats near the front and had a pit area that was standing room and it just didn’t make sense. But the bigger issue was that they closed down the bathrooms. Said it was only for the artists. So in order to use the restroom we had to go out to the back and across to go back to the front because the pit area was blocking from walking across. I had to use the restroom twice and took a long time to get there and back and waited on line and felt like I missed a big portion of the show. Everyone in my group felt the same. I think In a place that holds that many people there should not be only One working restroom. Even the men’s room had a line. I’ve gone to this show die many years and yes at times by the restroom you can see some of the artists leave stage but in no way were they ever swarmed they they should have closed the restroom. Lastly, when we arrived and entered from the boardwalk. We were waiting on line and security had us get off the line telling us that we had to get a clear bag. I had a small purse and I had no idea about this before I went. So they said I had to dump the contents of my purse into this clear bag and pay $10 for it. With much annoyance I did, I even put a half a bottle of open water in there. And I threw my entire purse in the bag without emptying it and nobody ever looked at it. We felt like it was such a moneymaking gimmick because it didn’t seem like it was for our safety. I could’ve thrown a weapon or something in there and they would not have even known. Everyone just put all their stuff back in their purse once inside and not everyone purchased a bag. It was totally inconsistent and a waste. Even if this is the policy of the venue it was the first time for me and I feel like they should’ve let us know ahead of time and sent notice out to the ticket holders beforehand. This made absolutely no sense and started the night out on a sour note.

Although show was great, buying expensive tickets was not worth it as the crowds from the back came to stand in the aisle in front of us whuch obstructed our view of the stage. More security was definitely needed to keep the aisle clear.

Best way to watch a concert is on the beach, and the staff is amazing didn't bother us about anything

The concert began right on time. From the start of the concert to the end, it was nonstop music or MC interaction, who were quite entertaining. For the entire 4 hours there was not a second of down time. Every single performer was outstanding! They performed their greatest hints with the same talent and energy they had 30 years ago. Lisa Lisa , Cover Girls, Sugar Hill Gang, TKA, and Coro were especially spectacular!!! The venue was organized and the crowd was there to just have fun, and they were not disappointed. Will definitely go again.

Was a great show was good to see groups from my time. The only one thing I have is the quality of the sound the music was overbearing to the vocals of the songs

Me and my wife really enjoyed seeing the entertainers performing the songs we grew up hearing .

The lines for beer food soda were very long and slow process I waited about 45 mins to get a drink other than that it was fine. Maybe need more vendors or stands

Missed the first 40 minutes of the show because we were stuck on a line waiting to enter the arena. They were very ill prepared for the amount of people and had a poorly set up entrance into it.

From start to finish it was a great show with some really fun performances . The crowd singing along, everyone knowing the words remembering the days that were filled with freestyle . A memory of some great times thank you to all the performers and ford amphitheater for this awesome show

The venue and facilities were nice and we had a great time. The drink lines were extremely long and time consuming. We were front row and we supposed to get wrist bands and didnt. We had to show our tickets again and were given bands but others were not tagged and kept forcing themselves to the very front. Security tried to keep them back but after a while appeared to give up. Overall it was enjoyable and we flew in from ATL and will be back.

Great show as usual. But I think it needs to be changed up a little, like have Judy Torres close the show instead of TKA. Also the service at the Ford Amphitheater was terrible this year. They ran out of things, they couldn’t use the iPads for the orders, the lines were out of control.

This show was so great..so many great acts all under one roof. Recommend this show to all.

Had an amazing time. It was very nostalgic. I don't know how i didn't lose my voice.

Great show! Any seat at this venue is a great seat! Friendly environment. Easy to find parking.
