    Trip down Memory Lane!

by grandma375 on 12/11/10Bears Den At Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel - Niagara Falls

We really enjoyed the performance! He's still 'got it!" It was fun to learn about his family life and hear about Fabian, Paul Anka and other friends. Good show!!

    Frankie rocked!

by hotmama59 on 12/11/10Bears Den At Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel - Niagara Falls

We really enjoyed Frankie Avalons concert. We do think eventhough it is his holiday concert he could have sang less xmas songs and more of the oldies. I would have ended his show with one or two holiday tunes and then encored with some oldies that he could have belted out. Needs more of a dramatic close.

    a true American classic

by bonimonster on 11/1/10Andiamo Celebrity Showroom - Warren

It was a great show, the complete showman! I'm only in my early 40's, but I remember all those silly beach movies, and always thought he was just such a gentleman. The performance was great! He came out into the audience, (we were in a restaraunt style venue), interacted with us, made funny jokes, performed his songs, his friend's songs from back in the day, performed for about 1 1/2 hours. I would highly suggest this show. It was a little Vegas-sy, but very cool, intimate, he was in GREAT voice, and I will definitely see him again.

Duets with Everly Brothers' son were the best!! :)

by Treester on 10/2/10Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace - Oakbrook Terrace

Great show. Way more high energy than anticipated. Frankie has stil "got it"! :) His son, Frank Jr., is a great drummer as well and great energy/ fun to watch. His duets with Don Everly of The Everly Brothers' son, Edan Everly, were the best. What a great voice Edan has, and a great guitarist. Great show overall!

    Loved Frankie Avalon

by ERfan on 9/23/10Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace - Oakbrook Terrace

I have never seen Frankie Avalon in concert or been to the Drury Lane Theatre, I loved both. Frankie Avalon is a great entertainer and I loved all the songs. His Son performs in the band with him and looks just like him. I liked the tribute they did to Frankie's friends who are no longer with us. It was a great show that had me singing on the way home and I will go see him again when he is in the area.

    Comedian/Avalon

Four of us attended the show. Everyone enjoyed it. I didn't care for some of the comedian's jokes. Improvements need to made with the sound and lighting.

    Frank Avalon

by Charlie1998 on 9/20/10California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

I took my friend Betty there as a Birthday present and I could not believe first of all, how good our seats were. Wow! We was in the second row! The show was amazing and Frankie sounded so wonderful and he sang all of his songs and sang them all the way through. He came out into the audience and he was so personalble with everyone. A trust Class Act! Would I go again? Yes! By the way, his drummer is his son Frankie and his lead guartist is one of the Everly Brothers' son.

He is amazing. Will see him more!!!

by amtrak92 on 7/22/10Trump Plaza - Atlantic City

He came out on stage, and of course the crowd went crazy. I had never heard of him that much before. But I always am looking for a great concert. He delivered. With an amazing set list. He acted young, and just told jokes during the concert. Making jokes about everything from himself, to stories about his friends. Then as his concert went on I figured out I knew so much music. Especially his covers of his friends in the music industry. Then I loved the song that was pitched to him, and he liked it enough to play it. So now I want to pitch a song to him too. I need to see him again. Then his band was amazing, and he let one play his father's music( he was the son of one of the Everly Brothers) which was amazing hearing the two sing songs of the Everly Brothers. He also came out into the audience not far from me. Posed for photos, and signed signs people made for him, or anything. He was super awesome. Now I want to see him again, and again, and again. After the concert I couldn't go to sleep for several hours, as it got you pumped up. The only thing I didn't like, was that it was only 90 minutes, I would have loved more.

    frankie was at his best

by oldies1965 on 6/22/10Trump Plaza - Atlantic City

The show was as I new it would be--fabulous--. The songs brought back memories of times long gone. The tribute to Rickie, Elvis, Bobby and Billie was heart felt and performed by a true friend. South Phily is proud to have Frankie as a talented performer and local songman. When he returns to this area I will buy ticket and see his show again. And I agree with him and his producer. Rap is Crap. His music will never be repeated again.

    Frankie Avalon is Multi-Talented

by Beaton on 6/20/10Trump Plaza - Atlantic City

Frankie Avalon's show is more than just retro. He incorporates different aspects of his past with music from contemporary artists as well as his own. He creates a warm walk back in time and stirs many memories that everybody can relate to. I was pleasantly surprised and would recommend his show to anyone looking to spend a relaxing evening with a multi-talented performer.

    Frankie Avalon Was AMAZING

by Smokey19 on 6/20/10Trump Plaza - Atlantic City

WOW. When I told my husband my girlfriends and I were going to this show, he wondered if it would be like some of the other shows we'd gone to with performer's of our era who, while charming, had lost a lot of their vocal capabilities. This was definitely NOT the case with Frankie Avalon. His still had his voice, boyish good looks and he charmed everyone in the audience! It was absolutely FABULOUS. Love the fact that he had his son as drummer in the band and the young Everly boy was a great addition to the "cast" as well-the Medley of Everly Brother's songs done by Frankie and him. 5 STARS!!!!!!

Hard to believe Frankie is 70 years old and still has a great voice. Also, he has his son as his drummer. How cool is that? The special surprise - his guitar and backup singer - the nephew/son of the Everly Brothers. What a night! Great show and most enjoyable.

Mr. Avalon was very personable; relating well with the audience (which was mainly of the same era). Enjoyed the mix of familiar songs and stories of his life. Also, admired the drummer and his facial expressions. A pleasant surprise was the singing and playing of Evan Everly. Enjoyed a great afternoon.
