FOUR YEAR STRONG IN CONCERT:
Pop-punk quartet Four Year Strong is more than a decade into their reign as one of Massachusetts’ most respected melodic hardcore exports. The band’s hard-hitting blend of anthemic vocals and heavily distorted guitars makes for an adrenaline-filled live show, and their hyper-charged onstage energy always whips fans into a thrashing frenzy. Frontman Alan Day’s searing vocals alternate between savage screams and catchy melodies, and the band keeps pace with similarly dynamic riffs that combine bursts of noise with soaring harmonies. Whether they’re shouting the anthemic “Eating My Words” or tearing through the bombastic “We All Float Down Here”, Four Year Strong always delivers a tuneful punk rock experience full of high-voltage showmanship and first-rate chops.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Four Year Strong was formed in 2001 by a group of friends who met at Doherty Memorial High School in Worcester, MA. The group self-released several demo EPs in the early ‘00s, and in 2005 they issued their debut full-length album It’s Our Time. By 2007 they were climbing the charts with their sophomore album Rise or Die Trying, a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart that led to extensive touring. Mainstream success was not far behind – the band’s 2009 third album Explains It All appeared on the Billboard 200, an impressive feat for an independent pop-punk band. Since then the band has released three more commercially successful albums, which they’ve supported on numerous tours with bands like Blink-182, Mayday Parade, Bayside, All Time Low, and New Found Glory.
Location was great, parking was confusing but easy. Admission was good straight to the point. The venue was absolutely packed but still had great flow. There was three bars wich was cool. Finally four year strong came on and Killed it as always.
I missed the synth guy, but all of them had great stage presence. It was amazing to hear that album

I saw these guys open up for Fall Out Boy about a year ago. The band is very engaging with the crowd and their music is awesome live! Also their beards are fabulous.
I love four year strong! they absolutely killed it and the Sinclair was a great venue. I loved it!
Although I'm from the same place as Four Year Strong I didn't stay for their set, as I'm not a fan. Although I've heard good things I only went to see Comeback Kid and Expire, and let me tell you their sets were amazing.
I have been going to FYS shows for the past 10 years and Everytime I see them they blow me away!
Four Year Strong always puts on a good show and they did not disappoint! I will continue to come see them every time they are in Atlanta.

My friends and I were there to see the Swellers and Four Year Strong, but unfortunately we didn't get out of work in time to catch the Swellers. Four Year Strong was amazing, as usual! We've seen them quite often, including on my birthday at the same venue. (April 27) The crowd was a little more lax than I wanted, but FYS still had me jumping and having a great time! Gallows was alright... And Title Fight wasn't what I expected live.
I can not tell you how awesome this show was!! Four Year Strong opened the show and kicked the headliner's butts!! I can not wait to see FYS on the upcoming AP Tour in Hollywood. That nice was just amazing. I got to see legendary bands like Bad Religion and the Descendents play alongside Rise Against and my favorite band Four Year Strong!!! It was just awesome!!

Definitely the best concert I've ever been to. The crowd was into it, the mosh pits were killer and the crowd surfing was amazing. This was my first time at The Culture Room and it was an incredible venue to see a band. Especially ones like FOur Year Strong and The Wonder Years that connect with the audience so well. The most fun I've had at a concert in a while!
the other bands who opened were pretty good...but fys was just absolutely AMAZING cuz thats just how they roll...they are sickkkk
