About

You can catch stand-up comedian, writer, and actor, Fortune Feimster, on the radio, on screens both big and small, and touring her stand-up across the nation. Fortune Feimster's first one-hour special, SWEET & SALTY, is currently streaming on Netflix and was nominated for Best Comedy Special for the Critics' Choice Awards. Prior to her one-hour special, Netflix released Feimster's half-hour special in 2018 as part of THE STANDUPS, which received rave reviews. She has done late night TV sets on CONAN and LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS and has another acclaimed half hour special on Comedy Central.

Beginning her career in Los Angeles as a member of the prestigious Groundlings Sunday Company, Fortune Feimster first became known nationally as a writer and panelist on E's hit show CHELSEA LATELY before starring as a series regular on Hulu's THE MINDY PROJECT and NBC's CHAMPIONS. She has gone on to have many guest appearances and recurring roles on TV shows including RU PAUL'S DRAG RACE, DEAR WHITE PEOPLE, DRUNK HISTORY, CLAWS, 2 BROKE GIRLS, WORKAHOLICS, GLEE, IDIOTSITTER, TALES OF THE CITY, THE L WORD: GENERATION Q, LIFE IN PIECES and @MIDNIGHT. On the film side, you can catch Fortune in OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY, SOCIAL ANIMALS, FATHER OF THE YEAR, and YES DAY. You may recognize her voice from TV, in roles including Evelyn on THE SIMPSONS, Brenda on Fox's BLESS THE HARTS, and Ava on Cartoon Network's SUMMER CAMP.

Fortune can currently be heard every morning with Tom Papa on Sirius XM's channel 93 on their show, WHAT A JOKE WITH PAPA AND FORTUNE. She also hosts a weekly podcast with her partner, Jax, called SINCERELY FORTUNE. Feimster frequently recurred on LIGHTS OUT WITH DAVID SPADE on Comedy Central and is currently starring opposite David Spade on the new Netflix series, THE NETFLIX AFTERPARTY. You can catch her playing Pam on NBC's KENAN or Pinky in the recently released BARB AND STAR GO TO VISTA DEL MAR. Along with co-writing and selling two comedy pilots to ABC, the latter of which is produced by Tina Fey, Fortune co-wrote and is attached to star in two features, BAD COP BAD COP and FIELD TRIP, both of which were acquired by Spielberg's Amblin Pictures.

  • Great Performance - Uneven Venue Enforcement

by Mickey on 12/27/21Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

This review isn't about Fortune's performance, which was excellent. It's about the frequent reminders sent by Ticketmaster and Clowes that the event was "mask required," yet enforcement of this requirement was uneven at best. The unmasked group next to and behind us, on the aisle, directly in front of multiple Clowes ushers and security staff, went unmasked for both the opener and headliner. I was distracted the whole show by the lady next to me, knowing she was putting us all at risk. If you can't wear a damn mask for two hours as required, I'm guessing you're also unvaxed, like a majority of Indiana residents. Why require masks and proof of vax if you're not going to enforce it?

Fortune was great. She had the crowd going and involved from the start. I had heard snippets of Aaron Weber, her opening act, on the radio. He was fantastically funny. I was extremely impressed.

I think the world needs to attend more comedy shows. My mom & I had so much fun at Fortune's show, sore face muscles from laughing so much & cannot recommend her special to enough people. Every single joke was great! Even her off topic tangents like her massage therapist & stories about her mom. Aaron who opened for her last minute was also amazing! Cannot wait for her to come back so I can take more people to see her!

  • Well worth the wait!

We waited over a year and a half to see this show due to the pandemic. We gave up many tickets but refused to give these up and we were so happy we did not. Fortune and her opening act were absolutely hilarious. She had a lot of new material too. Well worth the wait!!!

by Atlanta Guys on 12/14/21Center Stage Theater - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Fortune and her opening act were hands down the best comedy show we have ever been to. From start to finish we were constantly laughing. Fortunes delivery, facial expressions and body language on stage prove that she is one funny lady loaded with talent. We can not wait for her next tour!!

Parking at the venue was a complete NIGHTMARE. But Fortune & Joyelle were amazing! The venue itself was nice but they should really consider an entirely new parking area.

  • Fortune is Priceless

by NGagnon on 11/25/21Tivoli Theatre - ChattanoogaRating: 5 out of 5

Fortune Feimster put on a great show in Chattanooga at the Tivoli Theater. First, the theater is fabulous. No bad seats. Second, Fortune's opener, Dusty (something?) was funny. He was a good warm up. Finally, Fortune herself was very, very funny. All new material. Good crowd interaction. She was everything we hoped for. My husband, who wasn't very familiar with her, laughed the entire show. If you get the chance, go see her live. She did not disappoint. We traveled for over an hour, got a hotel room and made a weekend of it. Just wonderful.

The old black guy was so confrontational with us we couldn’t enjoy the show. So disappointing.

    by FortuneFan4EVA on 11/24/21Tivoli Theatre - ChattanoogaRating: 5 out of 5

Fortune was resplendent. She was beyond hilarious. We are so glad we went and would happily see her again. One of the funniest comedians out there right now. Plus, she is so humble, she makes you feel like you could actually be friends with her which is so nice because she’d make an awesome friend.
