Sweetwater pavilion and Phil harmonic with tribute band souned amazing

We would have enjoyed this so much more if we could have actually heard the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. The dollar store quality singers in front of the orchestra were not very good, their renditions were karaoke quality, and their banter about Fleetwood Mac was not accurate and demeaning to the band members. The best part of the evening was the beautiful venue, Sweetwater Pavilion.

After five years in Fort Wayne, last weekend we finally went to a concert at Sweetwater! My husband and I had a great time hearing the Fort Wayne Philharmonic partner with Jeans 'N Classics to play the music of Fleetwood Mac. My husband is a wheelchair user which can be an issue in some venues, but Sweetwater Performance Pavilion was easy to navigate, had great accessible bathrooms, and had plenty of room. We've previously heard the Fort Wayne Philharmonic at the Embassy Theater and always have had great experiences there as well.

I got to the show about 5 min before it started. I had no problems getting my ticket validated and a nice Usher helped me find my seat. The performers of the Fleetwood Mac music took a little while to warm up but was an excellent show once they did. The Philharmonic musicians did a great job performing the music that was out of their style of music.

This was a very good night as the music was great. They played most of Fleetwood Mac’s best songs and it was just a great time people facing all over, everyone had a good time

I want to make sure that my review is clear about how good the actual show was. The philharmonic did a phenomenal job! What I was disappointed with was the venue. $25 for a “seat” on a metal bench is way overpriced. We couldn’t even fit our entire group on the seats purchased because they were literally just benches, not at all made for plus sized people. We were able to move to the seats with a back on them, thankfully. But there is no reason for the pricing to be what it was for what they were selling. I wouldn’t have made it for an entire film on those seats.

Having the Fort Wayne Philharmonic do the entire soundtrack a truly unique experience. The characters walking around added to the experience.

Fantastic time at Foellinger watching The Empire Strikes Back accompanied by The Fort Wayne Philharmonic. There were Star Wars characters to take photos with and the venue even provided people to snap photos on your phone for you. Perfect weather for an evening outside performance. All in all a great evening.

What an incredible night!! I don’t know how they do it, but the Star Wars movie night was amazing. My son, a film major who has seen everything in various applications, said to me it was the best movie experience of his life! Every note was spot on. If you left before the credits music, I’m sad for you. Bravo!!

The Fort Wayne Philharmonic delivered a spectacular performance again! Watching Star Wars with live music is a real treat. The performance and conductor were enthusiastic through it all. Well done!
