Great bands, lots of energy, venue set up perfectly, of course you overpay for beer and food but hey its like any other concert. Hope it comes back! Plenty of room to jump around even when you got close. Only let down of the day was Escape the Fate who I have been a die hard fan of for quite some time , they sounded awful.
You can count me in for next year! It was a great line up.
It was definatly cool seeing the other bands at the festival, but my main reason for going was to see my first concert ever with my most favorite band! I refused to see any other concert, before I saw the offspring live first! So awesome! Need to come to Florida ALOT more!
I went to this event for my great niece. The bands were great and so were fans, I was concerned it might be to ""mature"" for a young teen, but it turned out to be fun and never had concerns about her age or safety. She had a great time and so did I, but my best review has to go to ticket master. I lost our tickets between the car and the gate. It was devastating to my niece. I wonderful woman convinced us to look and offer us a ticket. we didnt find the tickets but when we went to buy 1 ticket and told the story to ticketmaster they were able to look up my purchase and give us 2 new tickets. If it werent for the woman and ticket master my niece would have missed out on this great event! Look forward to next year !!!
Great overall show , could of been more shade or at least a better beer selection
All excellent bands! A whole day of rocking and no fire ants or Mosquitos !
Not being able to bring a bag in made it very difficult to carry everything we needed. I couldn't fit my sunscreen in my pockets since I had to carry around my regular glasses to switch out after it got dark. Consequently I got very burned since it was a 12 hour event. But, some people were allowed to bring in bags which didn't make since. Parking was horrendous especially getting out. This is the first rock concert I've been to where I had to pay for parking (and I've been to many.) Lastly, the place was disgusting. The trash was over flowing because it wasn't being kept up with which caused people just to throw things on the ground. I've never seen so much garbage before. Disgusting.
Otherwise from Las Vegas was the best, they need to be on main stage next year!!!!!
I really thought the 2 stages were great. I didn't get to see every bad play, but i thought it was all an amazing show. I got to go in VIP for a bit, Wasn't really sure of the difference except a tent??? The bathroom situation all day was horrible. I think that definitely could have been a million times better. Other than that I enjoyed it.
The bands were great! Like I said Otherwise was amazing! They always deliver a great show!! As long as they are on the bill I am there!! Girl on Fire and PopEvil were my next favorites!! Great guys and great music!! My only issues were VIP areas!! Not enough shade or seating for everyone! And VIP parking!! I was told I got parking for VIP and I walked a mile to the entrance... Confused!! Might want to give your VIPs' their money worth! But other than that it was great and can't wait to go back next year!!
What an amazing event! Loved the venue, loved the Bands! If you haven't yet, you Gotta See OTHERWISE! Adrian Patrick is AMAZING and soo sweet, so Glad we got to meet him!!! Gemini Syndrome really took me by surprise and I can't wait to see them again! In this Moment ... WOW ... SOOO HOT!!!! Amazing Pit action with Pappa Roach! Stone Sour always puts on a great show and 3 Doors Down, what can I say I will always love you!
All the bands rocked out! Volbeat, Danko Jones, Pop Evil, Stone Sour were awesome, fun, and a head bangin good time with Papa Roach and Offspring blowing up the stage! Everyone was rockin out! That is until 3Doors Down came on stage... They sounded good, however, the whole crowd stopped jammin and mostly stared blankly at the stage as they sang their most depressing slow songs and chatted up the audience. The rumblings amongst masses was, "Less talk more rock!" The venue was set up nicely, making transitioning from stage to stage uncomplicated and quick. A bit more shade would have been welcomed, as sitting behind the porta-potties for shade is less than desirable for obvious reasons. There is talk of making this a recurring event and possibly adding days to it in the future! I know I'll be anxiously awaiting to see what 99X pulls off next!
A lot of very awesome bands playing in a local area for a very reasonable price makes for a great time! Food was pricey, but good. Free Monster energy drinks earlier in the day. Meet and greet with every band that played during the day was available for the price of an album!
Amazing - just wish it was on a Saturday. Kids had FCAT the following day so couldn't stay for the complete event
Myself and friends attended the concert at JetBlue Park on Sunday April 14th. The main stage bands were totally awesome, especially Vol-Beat and Stone Sour. I was extremely excited that I was able to meet and get autographs from Stone Sour (Corey Taylor) I have been a long time fan of Corey Taylor, Stone Sour/SlipKnot. I'm not sure how 99X is going to top this one !!! They are the best rock radio station in SW Florida by far. The only complaint I would have is that on the rules of what was allowed (which wasn't much) and not allowed, Backpacks were on the "Not Allowed" list and I saw several people with them. It would been alot easier for me to cart all of our merchandise, towels, blankets, sunscreen, cameras, personals, etc. If I would of known in advance that backpacks were going to be allowed in. Regardless of that, 99X did a terrific job!! Thank You for giving SW Fla. a chance to Rock Out to some awesome artisits.. :)
Show was good but VIP was a waste of money doesn't compare to other VIP areas in places like Tampa and West Palm
Great show, Offspring were awesome. The venue was great i hope they put together more out door shows like this.
Best show in long time !!! All the acts were excellent .
Bands were great. concert was awesome. there should have been more shade available for non vip and water should have been cheaper. 12 hours outdoors in florida. there was so much energy. i loved seeing offspring!
Unbelievable that Fort Myers was able to get such an event organized. Everything went smooth, no parking problems, enough food and drinks, great lawn etc. Perfect for an open air. And the music with Offspring and 3doors down was awesome.
