    Forbidden Broadway

by Unfortunate2 on 1/10/17Aventura Arts & Cultural Center - Aventura

Very disappointing performance on all levels. Although the singing was adequate, the staging, the production itself was very amateur. There was nothing redeeming about Forbidden Broadway. I felt cheated for the ticket price I had paid, approximately $95 for 2 tickets, including the processing fees. I left during the intermission and apologized to the person who I invited to accompany me to this show.

    Not up to my expectations

by pennyslot on 3/15/16Fox Performing Arts Center - Riverside

Although this show was adequately produced with the acting above average, it was quite silly and immature comedy at its "average"!! The overall show was not what I expected nor have experienced in the past as to something that "I would remember" and want to recommend!

by Dnabi on 3/15/16Fox Performing Arts Center - Riverside

What a talented group. Laughed until I cried. Fun and thoroughly enjoyable. Singing along with the songs and loved the play on words and great costumes - From beginning to end - it was great.

    They Have Done Better Shows

by DeeCat236 on 1/6/16Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

The performers were very good and versatile however the audio was much to loud and you lost a lot of the lyrics. Some of the satires were dumb, it's a shame, they have done much better work.

    Say, What?

by Rothschilds on 1/6/16Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

For more than half the show that was the question people in the audience were asking. Four performers, 3 mics, on stands, with cords. Who's sending this out, a real embarrassment especially when we saw "Big Fish" at the same theatre a couple of months ago, a local group, and didn't miss a word. Why? Body mics, DUH! I worked in NYC all through the evolution of theatre sound, a very good friend of mine was the first to put a body mic on, Anna Maria Albergetti, in Carnival. He was the toilet flushing in the theatre sound, a very new invention back then. It's been made to work. If only we had them last Sunday.

Forbidden Broadway Is A Laugh a Minute

by Howiec on 1/6/16Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

The actors performed both new and old parodies in Forbidden Broadway Comes Out Swinging. The new ones were refreshing and the old ones are always welcomed.

by nudelhi on 1/5/15Aventura Arts & Cultural Center - Aventura

I found myself laughing throughout the entire show. The players were very entertaining...and truly seemed to be entertained, as well. The theater was full...and everyone walked out with a smile on their face. I loved it.

Big laughs on a cold day.

by Schottsie on 1/29/14Studio Three Riffe Center - Columbus

I enjoyed the "Forbidden Broadway" revue so very much. I was very impressed with the impressions that the performers did of other well-known performers. They were spot on and hilarious. This is an especially funny show for a theatre nerd such as myself. Of all the shows parodied, I had seen all but one. Ms. Williams was a stand out, but all the performers were excellent. Loved it!

by RomneyHater on 1/27/14Studio Three Riffe Center - Columbus

Fast-moving, sarcastic, and funny. You have to pay close attention to really appreciate all the references to Broadway musicals and stars. I left feeling uplifted and entertained.

    Forbidden Broadway

by Y8rt6 on 1/20/14Studio Three Riffe Center - Columbus

The lyrics were all so clever. The simulation of the rotating stage for Les Mis was hilarious. Great impersonations of Liza, Barbara, Mandy Pitinkin, and especially Carol Channing.
