Since releasing their self-titled debut in 1995, the Foo Fighters have been at the forefront of guitar-heavy rock. The origin of the band can be traced back to David Grohl's days as a drummer for Nirvana when he would write solo material when not playing with the legendary group. While Grohl handled all of the instrumentation for the Foo Fighters' first album, band members have since joined Grohl in the studio and on tour. In 1997, the band released The Colour and the Shape, followed by 1999's There Is Nothing Left to Lose and One by One in 2002. In Your Honor, a 2-CD album, was released in 2005 and revealed the band's impressive scope, ranging from quiet, acoustic songs to pounding, all-out rock. Hit songs from the Foo Fighters include "This is a Call," "Big Me," "Learn to Fly," "All My Life," and "Best of You."

The Foo Fighters put on a great show in Little Rock. They played for nearly 3 hours and really connected with the crowd. Great set list with a mix of old and new.
The Foo Fighters were really good. Better than I expected. Motorhedz was awful. Lenny can't sing and has no range. The only problem I had was not with the bands but with the audience. I don't understand why people would spend so much money to have a seat instead of the floor and then stand up and act a fool during the whole show other than the idiot people in front of me.....Foo Fighters were great
The Foo Fighters never fail to impress!!! Amazing show!!! Going to be a great tour!!! The opener in Tulsa was awesome!!! Already have my tickets for Kansas City!!! Can't wait!!!!
These guys rock! I am a hard-core fan. Whenever they come anywhere near my locale, I see them (even twice in a tour if I can). I highly recommend seeing one of their concerts. They put on an AMAZING show. I tell all of my friends who have not seen a concert yet - DO IT!
I saw Foo Fighters in KC Summer 2008. I can't wait to see them in Council Bluffs and KC this summer! The new album is amazing, and they know how to entertain and deliver their unique sound and rock all night.
I LOVE watching these guys play!!! they are sooo awesome... very entertaining!!!! will not be bored!!!! cant wait to see them play again SOON i hope!!!
Would go all over again. After going to one show, I went from owning one of their discs, to owning most all of their discs and am eagerly anticipant of their return to Charlotte.
The Foo Fighters are my favorite and I always catch their concerts when I can. Always an amazing performance that is definitely worth your money.
great live band, loudest live band ive ever heard and besides dave grohl is such a likeable guy. if you get the chance go see them and bring ear plugs.
Greatest concert all time this show had everything and more can't praise the foo enough for the show they put on
Smoke, lasers, dual stages, oh my! They have a great stage presence, with just enough talking but not ranting (usually). During my Ampitheatre show Dave was pissed because MTV banned his and Jack Blacks video for "Low" because of what in insinuates. The video is cool, youtube it. Best show of theirs was my third time seeing Foo Fighters at All State Arena (rosemont, IL) when they had dual stages. The extra stage was for a quick acoustic set that descended from the CEILING. I've seen them in Marcus Ampitheatre, WI during Summer fest (One by One). All-state arena, IL w/ kaiser chiefs and weezer (In Your Honor). All-state area, IL w/ serj t. (Echoes, Silence, Patience, and Grace). Milwaukee, WI for Harley 104th anniversary w/ Three Days Grace (E,S,P, and G). Dave Grohl has side bands, noteable are Them Crooked Vultures and his AMAZING side project PROBOT!!!
I saw the Foo Fighters at the Key Arena in Seattle in July of 2008 and it will be on thing of my high school years that I will never forget. Not only did they open with some great bands (Local Minus the Bear, and then Supergrass) but they played a great show. Playing almost a two hour set, covering thier entire career. Even playing "Floaty" off of thier debut album, and a smaller 5 song mini set on a round stage consisting of thier acoustic ablum favorites off "Skin and Bones." After it was all sang and moshed out, we all expected at 3 song encore like tradition, but a video of the guys back stage led to a question and cheer bickering that ended with the decision for a 5 song encore! Pulling out all the stops with Best of You, Aurora, Baker Street, Times Like These, and then finally, Everlong. Never have I stood on my feet for 3 and a half hours, screaming my lungs to ever word, and have come out with so much energy. If you get a chance, see them, like 'em or not, you will not be disapointed. I know I'm going as soon as I can!
Simply the greatest concert I’ve ever been to, period, hellva a show! I’ve seen The Killers, Incubus, Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Steve Miller, Journey, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Live, etc, Foo Fighters put on a CRAZY show!
