Foghat still rock. Very good. BOC WERE AWFUL!!! When most (yes, most, trust me) of the fans left after the first BOC song, you know something bad is going on. No energy, sounded bad, just BLAH. Waste of money. The Hard Rock Biloxi really really is awful with ending shows early. Please please give us our money;'s worth. I'm done going to 2 band shows there. Why tolerate 2 50 minute acts for full price? that's half a show. BOOOO Hard Rock.
I've been a huge BOC fan for almost 40 years and seen them in a variety of venues from Maine to Arkansas to Mississippi. This show started to fizzle out almost immediately. I expected Foghat to play a short set, but they both played exactly 50 minutes with no encore. Apparently, the Hard Rock had another event going on at 11 pm so the whole show was way too short. In the 50 minute set they wasted time on the three songs that most BOC fans hate; Burning for You, Godzilla and Don't Fear the Reaper. Little time for anything else. In addition, the sound quality sucked, so overall I don't know what Eric and Buck were thinking!!!!
Foghat was good. Buck Dharma with Blue Oyster Cult was very good.
The overall show was good. There were seats for everyone. BOC didn't play as long as I would have liked :(
Both groups were great. Thought that the Foghat lead guitarist and BOC bassist were a little too loud for the location. Foghat has a new singer who was very good and worked the audience to a lot of shouting and sing alongs. BOC was smooth and very good.
Great to see a band I grew up with & it was a great show! Glad to see they're still around & hope to see them again.
foghat jammed totally.. i saw them in the 1970's in new orleans at the warehouse we are all just a lil older now lol BUT THEY STILL ROCK .....///// BLUE OYSTER CULT is another story all together the lead guitar wasn't mixed correctly. all other instruments over powered it .... no encore..... only played 4 songs .they bite.. B O C was a very disappointing finish to an other wise good time will go to see foghat again if they play biloxi again highly recommended..... leave B O C alone although their bassist was jamming he was the entertainment not B O C
Foghat was great and they played all the hits, Both bands must have been on a timer as each played only 50 minutes. They had to cut the songs leaving out the great and normal jams. The music rocked but it sucked that the venue made such time restrictions!
I enjoyed Foghat....they didn't play very long. BOC was so-so.
I must say I enjoyed myself very much tonight. I was right up at the stage again and took photos and jammed. I went back in time with the songs and wished I had seen Foghat sooner. I really let loose and started dancing when the last two songs came on.. Great to hear them live instead of blaring from my car stereo. Looking forward to more concerts at Jannus!
Great fun, good band really good Base player If you get a chance take a trip down memory road and check them out
i really enjoyed the show , they were very tight and fun. the audience though were like a bunch of fuddy duddys, i really had a good time, there were only a few of us rocking out and my back was killing me the next day but it was worth the pain, by the way i'm 51 and i loved it.
The sound and accoustics ruined the concert. Guitar feedback, could not hear vocals, unbalanced sound. While the band are no doubt talented, it was hard to tell when the sound was muddled and bad. Too bad it ruined the experience and made us not want to see another concert in this venue..
Was a great show. Love seeing the old rockers. Only negative comment I have was it was to loud for such a small place, took away from the vocals.
Great show! . Concert wasn't very long, but they played thier greatest hits. Small venue, so all seats were good. I Would recomend to all fans and I would go again.
AFTER 40 YEARS FOGHAT STILL ROCKS I HOPE TO SEE THEM NEXT TIME THEIR IN TOWN . THIS WAS MY 3rd FOGHAT CONCERT MABY A LITTLE LOUD FOR SOME IN FRONT OF THE SPEAKERS BUT FOR ME I LUV IT WHEN U CAN FEEL THE NOISE. I HAVE BEEN LUCKLY ENOUGH TO GET AUTOGRAPH AFTER 2 OF THE 3 CONCERTS I HAVE BEEN TO .
Foghat was ok. 2 originals left. Their 2 big hits were the highlights.(Fool for the City) and (Driving Wheel). At times I was bored. Great venue. They still rock at times
It was a great show! I wish Foghat could have played longer...The Fabulous Thubderbirds did not disappoint either.
I thought all the members were very talented but this was the second time in the last couple of years that i saw them and its was the same opinion: I would not pay to go see them...they were musically talented and vocals were good but they did not play the songs we wanted to here except stone blue, slow ride and fool for the city...nothing from thier best album in my opinion Boogie Motel,,,also they drew out each song to the point you were wishing it would end...It seemed like the only played 7 or 8 songs total...they should have at least done a medley of some more songs..i was disapointed to say the least not enough songs ..drew them all out too way long ...I think they need to do at least a 2 hr show instead of what seemed like a litte over an hour...Im just glad it was free because i would of realy felt like i didnt get my moneys worth...I just hope the band reads this and revamps thier show,...then i might pay to see them, again...We arent getting our moneys worth !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
