The gams is always fun... Parking was a breeze, prices reasonable... Just remember, no beer once third period starts... We forgot... but will rememberfot the next time!!
I really enjoyed my 1st Everblades game experience. The team is so like the high school hockey team on which my son played. I enjoyed yelling, go to the puck and shoot, just like old times. And the pop corn was good too. Go Everblades!
My son is visiting from Mn. We went to see the Everblades. VERY FUN. Sat close to the ice and action. The event was very user friendly. We had a great father/son night. Thank you.
Great family event. High energy & fun for all ages.
We went to the Germain arena Nov 17th to watch the FL Everblades vs Toledo Wallye. It reminded me of college games.I was expecting a much higher level of play.We left after the first period. The facilities were atrocious (compared to the Miami Dolphins Football Stadium) The whole experience was poor (except for the personnel all of whom were friendly and helpful.) The food/snack section was from carts and the selection was extremely limited. I understand that the money to spend of such peripherals is extremely limited (compared with professional football) and that the fan base is much smaller but improving these peripheral things as well as improving the level of play would help improve fan support.) We sat next to a small boy ( ?~ 5 y/o) in the front/first row and even though this child was easily seen thru the Plexiglas screen,he did not receive one of the many free Everblades T-shirts that were being given out. Here was an opportunity to make a young fan,but it was not utilized. We will not be attend more games anytime soon. The acoustics were poor-there must be some way to correct that in this advanced electronics age.The old fashion central electronic information devise should be up graded with giant screen HDTV (or similar).
Parking was a breeze, game was great! Good action, plenty of scoring, good scrums- definitely an entertaining evening!
Germain Arena was very nice and easy to get around. A great way for a out of town hockey enthusiast to spend an evening.
Really enjoyed my first visit to the Germain Arena. The atmosphere was nothin short of great - from the raw hockey, to the very professional staff. This made the event even more enjoyable. Would recommend you attend if you get the cnance. Will be back in the New Year!
I am a native of NY City. I have seen the Rangers, Islanders, and the Devils Hockey a lot before I moved to Florida in 2002. This was my first "Farm Team" game and also my first time at Germain Arena. I an very, very pleased in both cases. The Hockey was of a very high calibre and the attitude and demeanor of the Germain Employees made for a wonderful evening. I thought that the pricing of the tickets and the other items for sale there was very fairly priced.
A playoff game. Exciting Hockey, good hard skating, no fights, few penalties. Good sized arena such that every seat in place has a good view. And they have cheerleaders (?) in front of section 116.
The game itself was well played. Alot of testosterone on the ice, which is always nice for a hockey game. It added some excitement that the Everblades were down by 2 games so they tried to win game 3 with alot of hands on the Reading players. The Reading players were great and then goalie was awesome! Some very exciting plays by both teams. The problem are the cowbells that are sold at games. I had purchased great seats but it put us next to a older man that constantly rang the cowbell in my ear. It was obnoxious and made the game very unenjoyable. I love hockey but that will be my last ticket purchased for the Everblades games.
We always enjoy watching the Everblades play but we sure hate to see them loose. Our guys need to work on their passing!
We recieved tickets as part of a charity give way earlier this season. Now we are hooked and attend all the in town games. It is a great venue, very clean, exciting and so much fun.
Good Game - played hard Blades won. Germain arena is a good venue with very good staff. Enjoyed the evening.
It was an extremely exciting game between the Florida Everglades and the Charlotte Checkers. Both teams played well and are deserving of great respect.
Great hockey, good venue, price is right, crowd was into the game. If we lived closer we'd have season tix.
The seats (section 101 at Germain Arena) were center ice. We like sitting a little higher up - you actually get a better view of the rink/game. The blades played another great game. A few scuffles, great control of the puck, and the pulled out a win towards the end! The will call line outside was longer than usual - remember to get there early!
Really good hockey in a fun environment at a reasonable price. Can't be beat. Go Blades!
THE QUALITY OF PLAY WAS BETTER THAN EXPECTED. THE ANNONCER WAS THE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED (VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE HOCKY NOVICE).
