This was simply one of the best Florida Blue Florida Classics of recent years! It was truly extraordinary!! The amenities, food, refreshments, vendors, plaza facility, bands, and the game were all outstanding! There is, however, room for improvement, and some change is warranted. The publicity, advertisement, and marketing of this classic left much to be desired. There was not much advance promotion; the quality, quantity, and publicity of the classic was not what it used to be! It did not appear to be hyped up!! Secondly, there was some confusion about the free game shuttle service. The location of the pick-up and drop-off areas were not forthcoming well enough in advance. Even the Lynx Bus Terminal/headquarters was not clear, concise, and informed about locations! All or some of these areas of improvement may account for the low game attendance; just under 55,000 persons attending. Understand COVID has also had a negative impact. All the more reasons to really promote and market this experience!
We have witnessed previous classics above 60,000 to 70,000 attendees pre-COVID!
Despite these points of improvement, the experience was noteworthy and exciting!! Our thanks to Florida Blue, Camping World, the City of Orlando Government, Lynx, Orange County Government, and others for being such wonderful sponsors!!! Looking forward to next year!!! Thank you for the input!!
