The experience was okay but just a little drawn out with a lot of high school bands. When the colleges finally came out that’s when we got tired and didn’t see the rest of the performance. Was expecting more of a competition where two bands compete at the same time. Loved the music that’s was being played and the give always.
I dont know who made the decision to not allow Rod Z to host-it was a grave mistake. The crowd participation was no where near what it has been the previous years when Rod Z was the host. The DJ was boring & couldnt ker the crowd enhaged.. I heard that powers that be were behind the scenes & pressured Florida Blue to not have Rod Z host...shame on the FL Blue CEO for letting this take place. Me & my crew will not return until Rod Z returns 😤.
So much fun & good energy watching these talented young folk strut their stuff! Great experience!
We enjoyed the experience overall, we come every year and it gets better every time
It would have been really good if I could have enjoyed my food!!! The bread for my hotdog was hard! My sisters pretzel was hard as a brick. Food should be fresh! I had to throw my food away it was not worth eating!
Entrance to event was terrible, once inside passing security and ticket was very quick and professional. Event was amazing. Would have loved to see both FAMU and BCU sell school merchandise. Price of food was average. DJ did a great job to keep crowd entertained.
The show was good just parking for handicap not enough. The stairs are a bit scary. When trying to book handicap wasn’t showing open. I get there and it’s plenty of seating, the staff wasn’t willing to see if they can get me a handicap spot was a mess
It was a great event but the dance groups coming to watch need to be put in a section with/near the band they are with or taught proper etiquette when at an arena in the stands. Girls were dancing and doing field routines in the stands almost hitting me and the other adults who just came to enjoy the show. One group of people near me left because the girls were too disruptive to enjoy the event. Perhaps asking the dance troupe leaders to keep their groups mindful of the tight space in the arena and not being so close that they almost hit people in the face repeatedly would help. Routines need to be saved for the field, not the arena seats.
The Battle of the Bands is undoubtedly the best evening of entertainment for the money..EVER! The high school bands are excited to perform and leave their all on the field. BCC gets better every year in their quest to top the FAMU Rattlers.. it’s not happening EVER but you have to admire their tenacity 🤣. The March 100 is a live music buffet….sound, showmanship, technical expertise…big sigh… makes a delicious sublime melodic treat😋. Yes! I’m unabashedly a lover of all things FAMU R.A.T.T.L.E.R. 💕
Battle of the bands was phenomenal, had been waiting 3 years to go. It was worth every wait
Enjoy my time. Great experience! One But, when giving out free gifts. They should make sure all seating area receive prizes. I feel like some spots was missed.
Everything was awesome, the host, the hs bands, the college bands, the DJs, I loved it and can't wait til next year.
I have attended Florida Blue Battle of the Bands every year they changed the host and he was dry. Bring back your previous host. This new guy tried but he did not hype the crowd at all
Everything was made very simple the transition of information was understandable Looking forward to using it again✅️✅️👍👐
My son performed in the band for his 4th and final year, and I am soo happy that I got my tickets through ticket master in order to go witness history in the making.
I never sit high in Amway Center but this year we did. The view way awesome and sound was great.
Great host, great performance.. these kids are so talented !
I think it was all good. I just didn’t like that the bands played 97% of the time to the west side and I was sitting on the east side. The bands need to learn how to play to both sides. I truly did not like looking at their backs.
The battle of the bands was very exciting. I enjoyed the whole show. All participants were great
