About

Fleet Foxes is an American indie folk band from Seattle, WA. Led by lead singer-songwriter Robin Pecknold, the band released their fourth critically acclaimed album Shore in the fall of 2020. Shore earned the band their second Grammy nomination (Best Alternative Music Album), and sweeping praise (MOJO five stars, Rolling Stone four stars, Pitchfork fifth consecutive Best New Music) with Rolling Stone calling the album "...the most immediately rewarding Fleet Foxes record since their brilliant 2008 debut."

    Great set from Fleet Foxes

    by RADIOHEADFAN on 8/22/23

Stepping out onto the stage with little fanfare, Fleet Foxes launched into a really beautiful 90-minute set, playing songs from all four albums and their EP, wrapping it up with the gorgeous Helplessness Blues. If only they would have just kept on playing the rest of the evening! Instead, after a 30-minute break, My Morning Jacket unleashed an ear-crunching opening song that it seemed would never end. We headed for the exit soon after. Worth it to see Fleet Foxes, though! A talented band that just keeps getting better, one of our definite favorites.

    Great Energy!

    by Bo (FL) on 8/22/23

The band put on a great performance and the crowd cheered together as one. This was the best I’ve ever seen MMJ play! Definitely in my top 10 for live shows. Can’t wait to see them again. I live for shows like this. I had never see FF before, Robin sounded like I was just playing Shore on my speakers, the way they harmonized was angelic! It was my first time at the Greek and I have to say the acoustics were great, overall the sound was perfection. Will definitely be coming back!

    Fleet Foxes + MMJ

    by Jay on 8/22/23

Amazing venue (Greek Theatre at UC Berkeley), even better performance from Fleet Foxes and My Morning Jacket. Top 5 show of my life. So great to see Robin smiling on stage and genuinely enjoying the tour. Just wish they both could have played longer sets!

7th time seeing a FF show and they just keep getting better

    by Viv on 8/22/23

I’ve been a huge fan of the Fleet Foxes since the EP, and have seen them many times live in so many different venues. They NEVER disappoint. Even though I’ve heard the same songs live so many times they always add something lovely and different to each show. Harmonies are always on point. In my experience the crowds are always friendly and overall it’s just a warm and wonderful experience. Will see them whenever I am able, and suggest you do the same!

need air movement when hot outside

    by whip60 on 8/22/23

Too hot and not enough air movement. have show tonight & hotter so not sure if will go. also should keep infants 1 to 2 years out. can not be healthy for them.. I had ear protection & almost not enough..... seems like music way louder than last time i went for same band..........no need to have that loud. might need to have osha do a sound check to make sure not over limits for duration

    Great music, Blown out amplification

    by jake on 8/22/23

Fleet Foxes and My Morning Jacket performed great. The amplification was over the top and significantly took away from the experience.

    A Magical Night

    by Ally on 8/22/23

It was a gorgeous evening at the Greek Theatre! The crowd was so present and excited for Fleet Foxes and My Morning Jacket to grace the stage. Both bands were absolutely incredible!

Heard the Fleet Foxes, were they really there?

    by SRbruce on 8/22/23

I enjoyed the music. Too bad I couldn't see who was performing it. Constant backlighting shining in our eyes was very annoying. Never say a face to confirm it was Fleet Foxes. I thought only ballet performance used this kind of lighting. On the other hand, My Morning Jacket played well and lighting was excellent. I will never understand emphasis on bass/percussion to where you cannot hear text of singers. Words to the songs are just as important as the rest of the band, and yet we get the opposite.

    Misleading line up

    by Zach on 8/21/23

We were expecting my morning jacket to headline both shows. They opened on Friday and were amazing. Unfortunately, it was a shortened set and Fleet Foxes just wasn’t for me. The venue was great. Hood crowd. Just would’ve preferred to know which night MMJ would have the longer set.

No one told me headliners switched

    by Disappointed on 8/21/23

I bought tickets to MMJ assuming from the marketing and billing that MMJ would headline. I also looked on setlist.fm to see when MMJ typically hit the stage on this tour. All data pointed to MMJ on at 8:30 pm. I showed up at 8:00 and they were nearly done. Only to find out Fleet Foxes were headlining that night. Missed one of my favorite bands. While Fleet Foxes were beautiful it was not the show I thought I bought tickets too. Disappointed.

Fleet Foxes does what they do best

    by Wombat on 7/14/23

Just an amazing evening of music. The entire band was "on"tonight. Yet it was Pecknold's voice that made it all even more magical. Beauty and harmony and peace for a few hours. Thank you Fleet Foxes for a wonderful night of church.

    Talented, brilliant, incredible

Fleet Foxes are positively phenomenal performers (Robin has a truly heaven-sent voice), and Thomspon's Point is a 10/10 venue with food trucks and water views to boot!

Such a sweet performance. The music was wonderful and the personalities and stage presence was beautiful

    Great vocals, couldn't hear them

    by Fish on 7/12/23

This group is talented and tight and offers an unique style of music. I was not familiar with the band, but appreciated them generally. My complaint was the volume (too loud) and mix (heavy base mostly clouding out the vocals).

    Amazing!

    by Aaron on 7/12/23

I was fortunate enough to be in the back row on orchestra level where I was able to stand up most of the show. It was amazing. The acoustics were great, visuals were perfect for the songs, and you won’t see much better live performances from any other band. Fleet Foxes’ harmonies were incredible, and every song was an absolute blast to listen to. Perfect set list for fans and for people who haven’t heard of them. Helplessness Blues capping it off was a fantastic choice. I would see then again in a heartbeat. The only sad thing was the crowd in Indy was lame as can be. Only saw about 5% of people moving at all the whole show. Thought I was in an orchestra. But that’s just a knock on the crowd / the people who inhabit Indianapolis, not Fleet Foxes. It was truly just a shame how little people seemed to appreciate it.

    An amazing experience!

    by Phil on 7/12/23

Fleet Foxes put on an incredible show - their emotion, instrumentation, harmonies, and attention to detail were a joy to hear. I've been a fan for years but this is my first time seeing them live and they did not disappoint. I didn't know much about the opener (Uwade) before the show but we very much enjoyed her set and collaboration on a few FF songs as well. We'll be back to see them again for sure.
